Honesty

I have been told that this is what makes people stay,

Just be honest and you will be happy 

I was so desperate for hope that I believed it...

So I ended up broken when I was honest

and lost everything ..

I should have known that this was too good to be true , 

yet I cannot fathom why this didn't occur to me.
