Washington, Here We Come!

Chapter 7

"Where in Washington are we going? How long is the flight there? How long are we gonna be there? What Hotel are we staying in?" Scott asked excitingly.

"Calm down, damn! Here! everything you need to know is on this page" I said giving him the papers.

We just listened to music and slept through the flight.

When we got to Washington, to me it was like going to Disney World for the first time, because we didn't travel at all.

First thing we did was find our way to the hotel.

Then we went out to eat and walked around downtown.

We were the type of guys that no matter where we were we still had fun.

The next day my dad had already left for that job interview so Scott and I decided to go to the mall that was walking distance.

When we got there Scott ran in.

"Dude, wait up!" I told Scott.

"Okay first we're going to th-" I said watching Scott just walk off.

I would sometimes get frustrated because I didn't know what to do with him anymore.

We ended up spending our day there. It was fun hanging out again with Scott.

We had one more day before heading back home and we decided to make the most of it.

We took our flight home and dropped off Scott at his house.

It looked like his parents missed him A LOT because they ran out, hugged him, and walked him in.

It just made me think of how much I missed my mom.

My dad, he was around but he had to work too so I would only get to see him at night.
