Even though I moved on with my life, I still remember him and keep him in my prayers.

It is now Winter of 2013 and I am 31 years old.

I decided to look him up on Facebook and when I did I found him!

I didn't know what to say to him, I mean he was my best friend for many years but now it's like starting over.

Should I say Hello? or should I apologize for leaving him? or should I try to explain why I did? I didn't know, so many years had passed.

I sent him a message saying "Hi Scott! how are you?".

He did reply.

He said "Ben! I'm doing good, how are you? say hi to your dad for me. I'm a little busy now, I'll get back to you. Nice hearing from you, man."

That's how it ended. I was so glad to hear from him even though we didn't have a real conversation, but I was glad he was doing well.

Scott actually left all the drugs behind, got a divorce, and got remarried to a very nice woman and had 3 children.

He lives a couple of hours from where I live.

Hopefully, one day we will meet again, leave the past behind, and move on.

I did regret telling him that I wouldn't hang out with him for doing drugs. I guess it wasn't the wisest way to do it. I should have just told him we could hang out as long as he didn't carry drugs around when he was with me.

Maybe he already forgave me, maybe one day he will get back to me and tell me that our frienship was never over, it was just broken.

It was just a Broken Friendship that could be repaired.

Just maybe..

I dont know, but one thing I do know is that I will be waiting for that day..
