"Where do broken hearts go?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
Aurora Grace Lindsey is a 17 year old girl full of heart ache and pain. She lost her parents at the age of six and her three older brothers at the age of nine. She lost her grandparents in her seventh grade year, and her beloved uncle in her eighth grade year. Aurora, or Rose, has been moved from place to place for the past eleven years. She has lived with her parents, her grandparents, her uncle and now her aunt. She has lived in six states within her life time.
Rose is currently living in Washington with her aunt, Beatrice. She has been with her for four years now. They moved two years ago from Iowa to Washington for Beatrice's job. Rose would have minded, but this was her tenth move and she didn't care anymore. Rose didn't have to leave anything or anyone behind. She learned the hard way that she shouldn't hold on to things, that it would be silly.
Now Rose is a senior attending Fulton High School. She has no friends to call her own and the only company she receives is from her aunt. Rose has always had a lonely life. After her brothers passed away eight years ago from a fire, she had learned to live with loneliness and disappointment. It would take a miracle to get her out of it.
And a miracle is what she got. Rose goes on an adventure as she learns just exactly where broken hearts go.
