Andrew's POV

Andrew woke up at 6:30 the next morning. He glanced over and saw Rose was still asleep. This was the first morning the whole trip that Andrew was awake before Rose. He silently applauded himself, knowing he wouldn't have to be the one keeping Rose waiting.

Andrew threw the covers off of him and headed to take a shower. He took a brief one and changed into a black t-shirt and blue jeans. He styled his blond hair so it was spiked in the front. He washed his green eyes and face before drying it with a towel.

When Andrew looked in the mirror, he saw his mom. His mom had long, blonde hair and piercing green eyes. She was thin and beautiful. Andrew looked exactly like her. His nose was small and round, his lips were thin and pink, and his eyes were just as piercing. While Samantha looked like his dad with red hair and blue eyes, Andrew took after his mom.

He turned away from his gaze and walked out of the bathroom. Rose was still asleep and Andrew decided there was no rush. As much as he wanted to get going for the day, he knew Rose needed to sleep. She was always up early, and it would do her good to sleep a few more hours.

Andrew plopped down on his bed and opened up his phone. He went through his phone and checked all his social media accounts. After an hour of browsing, Andrew had enough. Instead, he went into his pictures once again. He stared at all the fun photos of him and Rose. They had taken some together and others were just of each other.

When Rose and Andrew went to a coffee shop, he took a picture of Rose sipping her hot chocolate. Her dark blue eyes were looking at him and a smile could be seen from behind the mug. Andrew laughed softly at the cute picture.

He found another one of them sitting under a tree. Rose had her cheeks blown up and her eyes were crossed. Andrew was looking at Rose, his eyes closed while he laughed. It was another one of his favorite pictures of the two.

Andrew continued to laugh at all their fun pictures before a soft voice interrupted him. "That one is my favorite," Rose said from next to him.

Andrew had the picture of Rose looking down at a purple flower that he had picked. In the photo, he was looking down at her and smiling softly. Andrew looked up at Rose and smiled. "I like this one, too."

"We sure did have a great time, didn't we?" Rose commented.

Andrew nodded and returned to his phone. They flipped through a few more pictures until one of Andrew popped up. He was in the tree position with his eyes closed. Behind him was a little posture that read, "The tree position can save lives." Andrew and Rose laughed as he remembered seeing the sign.

"When you saw that sign, you got so excited. You ran over and made me take a picture. I thought it was so funny," Rose laughed.

A feeling of happiness rose up in Andrew's chest. He loved to hear Rose laugh. "I couldn't resist. The sign was too funny not to take a picture."

Rose shook her head as she walked over to her suitcase. "Do you mind if I take a shower real fast?" Rose questioned, her tone suddenly serious.

Andrew shook his head. "No, that's fine. Go ahead."

"I'll try not to keep you waiting," Rose said, teasing evident in her voice. Andrew laughed and rolled his eyes.

For the next thirty minutes Andrew played Temple Run while he waited for Rose to be ready. When she emerged from the bathroom, she looked adorable.

She had on a red flannel and a pair of black skinny jeans. She wore her red converse and her hair was down and flowing. Her dark blue eyes were sparkling as she walked over to Andrew.
