The Strawberry cake

Gray's POV

She was like a rare exotic flower that has never been discovered before. And she was different from any girl I had ever met. I bit the inside of my cheek. I have no right to even think of her, much less bring her to this horrid place which I call home. Even though she's been kind and gentle to me so far, she won't for much longer. Not when she finds out what I did. Not when she finds out that I killed my parents when I was ten, out of anger. Not when she discovers that I killed a girl because her parents couldn't pay the ransom that they owed me. And definitely not when she finds out how much bloodshed I have caused just to become Fairy Tail's leader. She would look at me with disgust, with fear in her eyes, like everyone else. NO! My gang has always accepted me when no one else would. I would not give that up for this girl. And if she ever found out anything about him, he would have to kill her, no matter how hard it would be for him. 

My train of thoughts were interrupted when we finally reached the bar in the hall. I could feel the eyes of my gang following me as I walked through. Natsu, Lucy and Laxus walked over to me. I rolled my eyes. I knew he was going to challenge me to a fight again.

"Yo Bro, fight me!!!It's time we got started already!!!" He said in a menacing voice.

I couldn't help but glare at him. 

"Sorry, but I'm back to eat cake." I tried to keep my description as simple as possible, though now I felt all eyes turn my way again. Natsu seemed to be the only one who didn't notice Erza beside me. But Lucy did. 

"Omg girl! I love your dress, it matches your eyes perfectly." Lucy chirped brightly.

I felt even more annoyed when I saw Erza's embarassed face. Lucy was our newest member, and despite her being a part of our gang, she had never actually killed anyone before. She worked more as a bartender, along with Mira. She was the one that searched the land of Magnolia for loot, and calculating the right time to steal it. Natsu thought she was pretty important, but that was because he was an idiot. I knew better. She probably just needed the money for her rent house not far from here. 

Levy, Jet and Droy were sitting at the farthest table, listening to the conversations.

Levy smirked then piped up. "Who said CAKE???"

The guild hall was quiet for a few moments. Then everyone's eyes laid on what Erza was holding in her hand. A strawberry cake. 

Then what happened next happened in the blink of an eye.

The gang hall was suddenly filled with a bunch of rabid monsters, all leaping for the cake in Erza's arms.

She quickly yelped and dropped the cake, which Jet caught, and everyone began tearing off pieces of the cake. It was gone in a few seconds.

Erza sighed.

"My strawberry cake..."
