The next day Taylor arrived at the coffee shop a little too early hoping to catch a glimpse of those heavenly green eyes.She paid for her order and sat at the same table where she had the encounter with the younger girl.After an hour of constant glances and disappointed sighs when instead of karlie someone else would walk through the door she decided that Karlie was a no-show.She got up and decided to go home and watch netflix all day while cuddling with her cats.As soon as Taylor stepped out of the coffee shop she bumped into someone hard causing both of them to fall "Oh my God!Im so sorry!I was in such a rush that I didn't see where I was going and.......Taylor?" As soon as she realized who it was Taylor's mind went blank,Karlie quickly got up and than helped Taylor up as well,when their hands touched both of them felt the familiar spark they had experienced the day before.Taylor gazed into those green eyes which were filled with worry on the other hand karlie was too busy examining Taylor trying to see if she was hurt or not
"Taylor,Taylor!Are you ok?" Taylor snapped back into reality and with a small smile replied "Yeah I'm ok."
"I'm so sorry!I'm such a klutz...I wasn't even looking where I was going." Karlie explained suddenly feeling embarrassed "Hey it's ok.You did no damage I'm still in one piece." Taylor assured karlie with a grin,karlie smiled back "Can I treat you with a cup of coffee for almost running you down?" Karlie smiled sheepishly,Taylor laughed "Well it is free coffee,why not?" after ordering they sat down both nervous to start the conversation.You've got to break the ice this time Taylor,she thought and gave karlie a shy glance "So karlie tell me about yourself." Taylor asked with a smile "I'm basically an open book as you have witnessed I'm a total klutz" karlie replied and Taylor laughed thinking about the the rundown they had a while ago "I like to do outdoor stuff a lot like hiking,long walks on the beach,almost any sport and playing fetch with my dog,Bruno." Taylor let the new found information sink in and smiled "So what about you?Does the famous pop star have any hobbies?" Karlie smirked "I'm sure Kimberly must've told you something's." Taylor replied with a mischievous smile "Yeah but I want to hear it from you." Karlie wanted to get to know the older girl and she didn't want to see it in any magazine or hear about it from her annoying little sister "Well I like food....Oh my God what am I saying?I love food!" Karlie laughed at Taylor's silliness "Yeah sue me I don't care and I also have agility pleasure for anything and everything related to cats especially own two little fur balls Olivia Benson Swift and Meredith Grey Swift.I just know there gonna carry on my legacy!" Taylor added with a dramatic expression of pride.Karlie smile and was internally happy that the older girl was opening up to her,You sure are something Taylor,Karlie thought to herself sneaking a look at the blonde "And theres one thing more,it's very very important so listen carefully..." Taylor added with a serious look,she leaned closer to karlie and than whispered slowly "I'm really really......lazy." karlie burst out laughing at Taylor's "very important confession" and Taylor couldn't help but smile brightly at the sight in front of her.Karlie's laugh reminded her of sunshine,pure sunshine.
