"Godess" was the first word that came into karlie's mind when she saw Taylor and when she smiled Karlie could've sworn that it wasn't Taylor but an angel sent from heaven "Hey karlie! You made it" karlie smiled shyly and than replied "Hi Taylor! You look beautiful " Oh thank God,looks like your making a good start karlie just keep it up she thought on the other hand Taylor felt her heart flutter at the younger girl's words,she blushed "Oh thank you,you don't look so bad yourself " Taylor joked lightly,karlie chuckled "Why tank you Miss Swift for your kind words" Taylor laughed "Anytime Miss Kloss now shall we go to our table?"
"Let's go" karlie answered.They both made their way to a table which was in a more private part of the cafe "I don't want any paparazzi ruining our afternoon" Taylor had told karlie,as they both sat a waiter came,handed them the menus and left them to decide after they had decided Taylor called the waiter and gave him both their orders "Your order will be ready in 30 minutes" the waiter told them and left.After a minute had passed Taylor broke the silence "So karlie I hope I didn't intrude in any of your plans today?"
"Oh no not at all I'm actually really glad to be here with you right now" karlie spoke earnestly gazing into the older girl's eyes,Taylor felt her lips curve into bright smile at karlie's words "I'm glad to have asked you karlie like I said before I really want to be friends with you" karlie smiled "Can I ask you something but you have to promise to answer truthfully ok?" Taylor felt her nerves starting to show up at karlie's question "Um..yeah I promise"
"Why do you want to be friends with me of all people,you meet famous and pretty people on a daily basis but why me,it's not that I don't like it believe me it's an honor I'm just curious" karlie let it all out now nervous herself as she looked at the older girl expectantly waiting for an answer,Taylor took a deep breath and than explained "Look karlie I honestly don't know myself,I like you cause your different there's something about you that I don't know but at the same time draws me towards you and makes me want to know you better and be your friend.I know it sounds stupid but you wanted the truth so I told you the truth" karlie grinned at Taylor's honest answer "Maybe I'm different because of my height,I have been compared to a giraffe on various occasions by many people.I remember once when we moved here me and my older sister Kristie were gonna start school,she was in the 5th grade and I was in the 3rd grade,I looked older than her so the teacher mistook me for Kirstie and because of that I had to spend my first say in 5th grade and she she had to spend the day in 3rd grade" Taylor laughed loudly at karlie's funny mishap,hearing her laugh was like music to karlie's ears.The waiter soon came with both their orders and they ate in a comfortable silence enjoying each other's company.After they had finished they spent the time talking about things like music,pets and whether Donald Trump should be president or not,they both agreed on not.When it was time to leave they both stood at the entrance of the cafe both reluctant to say goodbye after the well-spent afternoon in each other's presence "So I guess I'll see you around?" Taylor asked "Definitely" karlie confirmed with a grin.This time Taylor was the one who hugged Karlie rather tightly,karlie smiled sadly she didn't want to leave at all.As soon as they let go of each other Karlie had a brilliant idea "Taylor,do you trust me?" Karlie asked seriously,Taylor a bit taken aback by her question was confused but nonetheless replied "Yeah why?"
"Because I want to take you somewhere that is if your not busy" karlie waited for her response while Taylor was happily screaming inside,Ok don't screw this up remain cool she mentally advised herself "Well if you call watching Netflix all day being busy than yes I am but I will make an exception for you" karlie laughed "Thank you Miss Swift for canceling your plans to hang out with me" Taylor chuckled "But where are we going?" She asked "You'll see" karlie replied and gave Taylor one of her signature smiles that was enough to make Taylor's heart melt,Karlie grabbed Taylor's hand both felt a spark enlighten,they both looked up and gazed into each other's eyes and smiled.Than off they went.
