Briar's POV
She arrived at her home in Switzerland.
She is so sleepy because of two consecutive sleepless nights.
Even her body was also aching because of her three days working as a housekeeper. Even though she was used to the work, his body still ached from three days without rest.
She insisted on covering the job of her aunt's housekeeper, who got ill. She doesn't want to embarrass her aunt's company just because they cannot send someone to clean their client's place.
It was supposed to be her little getaway from her hectic schedule in her own company. Her wedding planning agency.
Her assistant insisted that she should take her break because she was exhausted from booking one wedding after another for three whole months.
But because of unexpected circumstances, instead of taking a break, she got involved in intense work.
The day she arrived at her aunt's place, they were in chaos. All of their housekeepers were out, and the only available one was Aurora. But all of a sudden the woman called the office and said that she could not make it. Her husband rushed her to the hospital due to the vomiting.
That's why she volunteered to take a job. She loves her aunt.
"Are you sure you will do it?" her aunt asked her. She could feel that her aunt was feeling uneasy.
"Yes, of course. Remember before I flew to Switzerland and created my own life? I was once a housekeeper here with you. So I know everything. Don't worry; I'll manage," she assured her aunt.
While unpacking her suitcase. She remembers her embarrassing encounter with that man in the vacation house.
How she wished that she didn't see him. If only she didn't try to get some sleep. She had never fallen on the floor.
She tried to brush off the thoughts between her and the man.
She needs to get ready.
She will have a meeting with the couple, Josef and Caren, for the upcoming wedding.
Jenna sent her some details about these couples. They are actually both from Brazil, but they found a job in Switzerland. Because of their job, they decided to get married where they are.
They will be there in her studio by five.
She quickly runs in the shower and puts on a floral-printed dress and black pumps. She grabs her handbag and hops in her car. The studio is only thirty minutes drive away. It's only four o'clock and ten minutes. She has enough time.
When she arrived, her assistant greeted her.
"Welcome back, Briar," Jenna greeted her, smiling.
"Thank you, Jenna," she said, smiling back.
"How's your vacation?" Jenna asks.
"Quite nice," she replied.
"Hmm, just nice. Is there something interesting?" Jenna asked, smiling.
"Nope. How about you here?" She returned her question back to her.
"It's fine. Nothing interesting too," Jenna replied.
"Well, it seems there's nothing that caught our interest, huh?" She said, smiling.
"These." Spreading her arms to the place.
"Caught your interest as well as mine, Briar," Jenna said.
"You're right. This is where we made every woman's dream wedding come true," she said and heaved a sigh.
