rydelr5: yo

ellingtonratliff: You're literally sitting opposite of me...

rydelr5: I know. I just like to talk to you this way (:

ellingtonratliff: I'd rather talk to you in real life. We've got a few minutes left to do so, you know.

"I know," Rydel said with a sigh. She put her phone down and got up, Ellington following her actions. A loud voice sounded through the speakers of Schiphol Airport, telling Rydel that her plane was boarding now.

"I'm going to miss you so much," the boy admitted, tears burning behind his eyes. He had grown even closer to the girl now they met in real life - she had spent a whole week with him, in Amsterdam. But even good things come to an end, and it was time to say goodbye.

"I'll miss you, too," Rydel sighed, wrapping her arms around Ellington's waist.

"Thank you," he whispered. "Thank you for coming over and... fixing me, I guess?"

"You needed it..."

"I know..."

"Don't ever let anything bring you down again, okay?"

Rydel looked up at him, her eyes locking with his.

"I can't come over every time you need a cuddle buddy."

Ellington chuckled - a sad chuckle, as a tear rolled down his cheek. He hugged Rydel tightly, almost breaking every single bone in her body as he squeezed her against himself.

The voice through the speakers insisted everyone to go to their gates now, or they would miss their plane.

Rydel escaped from Ellington's arms and gave him a sad smile, tears filling her eyes as well. She was wearing a pair of jeans and his T-shirt, which even smelled like him as he had put some of his cologne on it. When Ellington would come home, he would find a shirt of hers under his pillow, with her scent on it as well, only to remind him of their week full of cuddles and smiles.

"DM me when you've landed," Ellington said. Rydel nodded.

"Say hi to your family from me, as well?"

Rydel nodded again, as she slowly started to walk backwards, towards her gate. She waved, and then turned around to make sure she walked the right way.

Ellington's heart bursted inside his chest as he watched her walk away.

Am I really letting her go like this? He asked himself.

The answer, frankly, was no.

He started to run after her, carefully pushing people to the side and excuse me- and pardoning himself through the crowd. Finally, he reached the girl his heart craved for.

"Rydel!" he exclaimed, and he reached for her hand. She turned round, and he took her hand to make sure the people around them couldn't break them apart anymore. Quickly, though, his arms slipped around her waist, and he pulled her body against his.

"I'm so in love with you," he admitted, before pressing his lips to hers.

At that moment, Ellington didn't give a damn about anything but his girl. His parents meant nothing to him anymore, he didn't care about her plane leaving - it would only make her stay longer, anyway - even his dogs degraded on the list of things he cared about.

People around them clapped their hands and cheered them on, supporting the young love, as if it was a proposal. To Ellington, really, the kiss probably meant just as much as a proposal.

"You're crazy," Rydel said, pulling back and cupping his face in her hands.

"For you," Ellington said, sheepishly grinning before connecting their lips once again.

Of course, the whole going-on had taken just too long, and Rydel missed her plane. Ellington didn't really mind, and he spent all the time he could possibly spend with her.
