Chapter 2: Capture the Nerd

Noah's POV
After lying in the woods together for an hour when we finally walked back to camp. It was getting dark now, but we could still easily maneuver through the woods with the light of the setting sun. Cody went into the cabin but I stayed behind, that was a mistake. I went to sit down on the cabin steps when suddenly everything went dark. I was in a sack I tried calling for help and clawing my way out, eventually I gave up. My captor opened the bag a half hour later and I fell out onto the cold floor of the woods. "Ok who the hell are you and what do you want?!" I heard them laugh, no not them but her. "Ugh" I rolled my eyes, "God dammit Izzy, what do you want now?" "Hehe heya Noah!" she jumped right in front of me (probably from a tree). "Hello Iz, great to see you.. Now why the Hell are we in the middle of the woods!?". "I saw you two together". "Oh great she probably saw us smiling like idiots, lying next to each other on the ground." "Ok and?" "I saw you CARRYING him!" I blushed rather hard, but didn't try to conceal it since it was so dark. "I.. He.. Save.." "Uh huh sure, don't worry I'll catch you too together when I have my camera and then we'll see who's right" she snickered mischievously and disappeared, leaving me alone. In the dark. Of the woods. Wawanackas woods to be exact. I quickly panicked and ran it only took me a couple minutes to find the cabin. "Strange" I thought, "it took forever to get there". I brushed the thought off and went to inside the cabin. Everyone was asleep, everyone except Cody. "Hey Noah! Where've you been?" I told him that I went to read on the dock of shame. "More like the dock of lame" he snickered at his joke, and I couldn't help but chuckle too. He moved his legs and I sat down on his bed next to him. "Cody?". "Yes Noah?" Can I talk to you about something? "Of course." He smiled and whispered "what's there name?" I blushed, and said "I'd rather not say but I don't think they like me, so what should I do?" Cody thought for a moment and then said, "I don't know, girls usually reject me." I wasn't sure what to say I didn't want to tell him that I like boys, especially when our friendship had just begun. So I did what any smart gay guy would do. I lied. "Yeah well Izzys a bit different so what about her?" Costs face was in utter shock I wasn't sure if he was scared, confused or a little hurt. "Uh Cody? Hello?" He blinked finally after a few seconds, "I'm just uh.. Surprised." He said, "Izzys a scary person to have a crush on, I mean she could kill you in your sleep!" I technically agreed with him I mean Izzys a total psychopath but she's also one of my closes friends so I wasn't gonna let Cody talk badly about her. "Izzys great don't be talking bad about her ever again!" I said that a little harsher than I should've but Cody did back down and started to apologize. "Oh Noah I'm sorry! I didn't realize you felt so strongly about her! I promise I won't do it again!" "Hey would you guys keep it down please." We had awaken Trent, and he seems to get really grumpy when he's tired. We both quickly stopped talking and waited to say anything else until we were sure he was out again. "Whew" Cody said, "I was afraid he'd beat us." "Maybe not me, but with how much you've been following Gwen around I wouldn't be surprised if he hit you." Cody could tell I was right, but he just looked down. "Why do you do that by the way?" "What do you mean?" He asked. "You know Gwen doesn't like you but you still try anyway." "I don't know." He responded and with that we said goodnight and both went to sleep.

Cody's POV
After we said goodnight, and Noah went to his bed I laid down and rolled over. I tried to sleep but I just couldn't I stared at the ceiling, listened to the wilderness. I looked at my pocket watch, and frowned. "Great it's 3 and I'm not tired at all" I groaned in annoyance and got out of bed. I quietly walked out of the cabin into the cold air of the island. "It's nice out here", I whispered to myself. I looked around making sure there was no bears or campers I'd awaken, once the cost was clear I laid down. The grass was soft and comfortable, I looked into the sky and saw the moon and stars. Until my vision was blocked by something, something was hovering right above me. I started to back away in panic. Once I was out from under it the moonlight showed me what it was, a bear. "Uhh.. N-nice bear.." The bear roared and I ran. I ran until I ran right into something big and hairy, I thought the beat had caught up with me but this was bigger than the bear. It was Sasquatchanakwa. I jumped so high I landed in a tree, then climbed as high as I could. I saw the beast start climbing suddenly something big tackled it. "Yeah go! Take it down!" I heard a whimper and some pounding; probably the thing running away crying. "Oh thanks so much for saving me!" The thing looked up at me. "Oh come on!" It was the bear. The bear ripped it's head off and I finally realized, it was just a costume. "Oh heya Cody!" I rolled my eyes. "God dammit Izzy! I thought I was gonna die!" She smiled and climbed up the tree. "Hey wanna hear a secret?!" She asked. "I know someone you likes you". She had a wicked look in her eye, which terrified me, but I decided it'd be best just to humor her. "Oh really? Cause I know someone you liked you too." She stared at me for a moment and then said, "Oh you must mean Owen! Hehe yeah I know he's so sweet isn't he?" I thought about it for a moment Owen and Izzy would make a cute couple, but I don't know if Owen even likes her. He's probably scared of her like the rest of us. "Uh no actually" I piped up, "It's someone else." "Really?!" She got very excited and started jumping up and down asking me to tell her. "Izzy stop we are in a tree! Remember?" "Oh yeah my bad." She giggled to herself and sat down again, then she leaned in and said. "On the count of three we say who they are ok?" I nodded, I knew she wouldn't take no for an answer. "Alright" she said, "1... 2... 3..." At the same time we both yelled Noah! I was so confused I must've heard her wrong. "Wait Izzy did you just say Noah likes me?" "Yeah! But why did you say he likes me?" "Because that's what he told me!" "Well he didn't tell me that he likes you but I can tell, it's like one my 10th sense!" I didn't want to ask what the other senses she had were other than the usually ones, but I kept playing the thought in my head. "Noah..? Likes.. Me..? No that's.. Ridiculous, Izzys just crazy and you know that!" Still though the way Noah acted around me, was it actually possible? I got the biggest grin ever forgetting that Izzy was right there. That was a mistake. "YOU LIKE HIM TOO!" "What!? No I don't?!" "Oh yeah? Then why are you blushing so much?" I could feel my face burning up, but how did she know that it was dark! "Must be another one of senses." I panicked and started climbing down the tree. Once I got to the ground I started to run. I could hear Izzy still in the tree calling "YOU LIKE NOAH!" Chanting it over and over again. I ran all the way back to camp. I almost made it inside the cabin, but of course I tripped on the steps and twisted my ankle. "God dammit!!" I yelled I winced at the pain and tried not to wake anyone. "Oh my gosh! Cody are you ok!" Of course, it was Noah of all people, but still I couldn't help but smile. "Oh hey Noah, help me into the cabin?" "No I'm just gonna let you sleep on the steps, of course I'll help you!" I laughed, again he lifted me up and then carried me into the cabin and laid me onto my bed.
