Chapter 6: Waiting

It has been 4 weeks since I was eliminated from the show since then, Justin, Katie, Tyler, and Izzy have joined me, Eva and Zek at the playa de loser. 4 weeks without him. It seems like forever since the last time we kissed. I miss that kiss more than anything. Although I must say at least the money wasn't worth it, the amount of time I will be at this resort is worth way more than that. Still it's missing something. I know it sounds selfish but I wish Cody would get kicked off the show already, that way I can see his boat pull up to the playa dock. See him get off the boat with his light brown hair that makes him look 12. Then he'd turn to see me and he would smile his gap-toothed smile that I love, and I'd smile back. Then I'd be the happiest man alive. With the boy I love, in an amazing resort. Until then I'd have to wait. My head was always filled with anxiety, I would try to sit by the pool and read a book but my mind would always trail off to the times I had with Cody. Sitting with him on the cabin steps, on the dock, on the ground when he was hurt. We would sit, always together. I miss it so much. "Hey move it!" I looked up from my daze to see the muscle powered Eva. I just sighed and got up and started walking to the other end of the pool. Usually I would argue or say something sarcastic, but I just didn't have it in me. Eva must've noticed too as I walked away she started whispering something to Izzy. I heard her say something like "psst pss ss". I shrugged off the thought and kept walking. I sat down next to Zeke and tried to keep my mind off Cody. "Heya man are you alright eh?" Said Ezekiel with his very thick Canadian accent. "Hm? Oh yeah I'm fine." He frowned at me. "Oh really cause you're acting like a sad little girl." Leave it to Zeke to turn my sad problems into something sexist. I glared at him with as much feeling as I could but that wasn't very much, and left. I walked out of the pool area and into the hotel. Down the hall and to my room. I walked in my room and closed the door with a small "thud", and plopped onto my bed face first. Soft and barely noticeable tears fell from my face and absorbed into the sheets. I flipped over and stared at the ceiling. "Cody is my drug, I tried to quit, but I can't, I am addicted to him." With that I closed my eyes and fell asleep and started immediately dreaming, in my dream j was watching the camp I saw everyone running through the woods, then I watched as Duncan turned into a dear and galloped away. I walked through the woods quietly, looking for a sign of life but there was nothing. The trees were slowly dying around me. Everything was falling apart. I started running, it didn't feel safe there I had to get out. I ran until I saw something decayed, rusted, with a broken window. When I got closer I realized it was the ambulance that Cody had road in when he twisted his ankle and got bit by fire ants. I went to look inside the vehicle when I heard a scream. Cody's scream. "CODY" I screamed, but I wasn't dreaming anymore. I was in my bed, in the hotel. Alone. "I want him back" I said as I choked back tears. "When will he come back to me?"

Cody's POV

I got mauled by a bear.
I woke up in the infirmary, completely bandaged. During the challenge where we dressed as deer and hunters. I got separated from the group and then I was attacked. Since no one seemed to be fighting very much today I knew I was gonna the boot, I wouldn't be surprised, I mean I'm literally useless. I can't move at all. Marshmallow ceremony came, hours later and of course I was voted off. Everyone seemed to actually feel bad about it for once. Like they were actually gonna miss me which made me feel much better. Beth wheeled me out to the dock of shame. When we were at the end of it she said, "take care Cody!" And kissed my cheek. "Eeeeewwww" I thought when she kissed me I fell into the water. I started panicking I couldn't swim all my limbs are broken. I tried to move but it was just more painful. I tried to scream but it just came out as muffled bubbles through the cold dark water. I thought I was done for, but then I started floating, floating up to the surface. No wait. I wasn't floating, I was being pulled out of the water. "I knew Chris wouldn't let me drown!" I came up to the surface and gasped for air. "I can't believe Chris would just let you drown!" I heard a voice say. They pulled me up onto the shore and I heard them fall on the ground with a "Thump". They were heavily breathing so it must've been someone who isn't very strong. I thought for a moment and got myself turned around and there he was on laying on the ground my knight in shining armor. "Mmah?" Was what came out of my mouth, all muffled by the bandages. He looked over at me and smiled. "My name is Noah." He kneeled down and looked into my eyes. A single tear fell from his dark brown eye. "I- I missed you so much." He spoke softly. "What happened to you?" Now he spoke more worriedly, his expression said it all. "M mot mmld mi a mer." I tired to say through the bandages. Noah laughed at me. "Here let me help you with that." He removed the bandages around my mouth and breathed in the fresh air. "I said I got mauled by a bear!" He looked at me confused, I guess I said that way to happily, but then he smiled and pulled me close to him. We stayed an inch apart until he said, "If you ever get hurt again, I will maul you." We laughed, I may have lost total drama, but at least I had Noah back.
