Amy's P.O.V

Haunted? Why on earth would that be? "but... why?" I looked at him, it looked like he was going to say something but didn't have the words. I guess you don't have an answer either. "what are we going to do?" he looked at me with a..... concerned look? " I guess search around more till we find something that will help us", I got up to leave the room. (we were still in the side pocket room) He followed me as we went back to the main room with the stairs. As I opened the door we could hear grunting and growling. We both gave each other questioning  looks, we peeked in and saw four red ghosts ripping out the gears from the wall! " What on earth are they doing?" I whispered of coarse not to alarm them. They parted each a separate way, I noticed we no longer had access to the top floor of the library. It was blocked by a fish tank.

"That crank must control the fish tank" Mark was already moved from the position we were in and looking at the crank on the wall. "Awesome" I rolled my eyes "Well not right now we needed that to explore more of the mansion" Mark looked at me, then grabbed my hand and led me to the hall that led to the front door room. Where we first entered when we came here. "We didn't check all the rooms before this point" he then pointed to the two side doors. "So, who goes left and who goes right?" he then looked at me again.... gosh that face. "Do we have to split up?" he then quickly added saying "It would be safer that way". No, I needed time to myself everything got wacky when just got here. I needed to clear my head.

Mark's P.O.V

"No, we'll be fine, and this way we can search twice as fast", I looked at her. My eyes meeting her's just staring, the first time we've actually looked at each other like this. "Yeah, your right I'll go check the left door you can check the right" I said in my over all goofy tune of voice to release the awkwardness in the room. I headed towards the right door, but not without giving her another glance. Just be safe. So the room turned out to be a garage, small garage. I was just looking through boxes and stuff. Man this place sure is messy. I opened the hood of the tiny car that was in there, "whoa *cough* *cough*". Then a green ghost popped out and had a green light bulb in its hands? It pointed and laughed at me, then disappeared through the wall outside.

The door flung open, and there stood Amy. "What was that I heard a yell then a noise- are you alright?" I picked myself up from being on the floor. "I'm fine, just a ghost that's all" I shrugged it off. "Oh that's good nothing major- what?" I lightly chuckled at her. "Just a ghost, although not one we've seen before" I put my hand on my chin. I looked at her from the corner of my eye, holding a cute pose. She had her hands on her hips shifting her weight to one side with a pouting look on her face. "Is there something wrong?" I playfully asked her, to my delay she punched me in the arm followed by "don't worry me like that!" I couldn't help but sheepishly laugh, then I was engulfed with a warm embrace.

I hugged him. That's the first time we've actually legitimately hugged. It felt so good, I didn't want to let go. Then I felt the heat rise in my cheeks, I let go of him turning away slightly. "S-sorry" I mumbled, embarrassed a little. That didn't feel like a hug you would give your normal friend, it was different. "Look what I found in that old car hood" he acted as if nothing happened, my embarrassment was covered with relief. He pulled out what looked to be a vacuum.... backpack? "What that and how will that help us?" he put it on his back, yep vacuum backpack. "Its a poltergust 3000, it will help get rid of the ghosts". Wonderful. "Oh wait a minute the strobe light is missing" "whats a strobe light?" I don't know how he knows all this but I'll ask later under different circumstances. "That's what stuns the ghosts so you can suck them up, without it we can't rid of the ghosts." He looked at me. "Now what?"
