Amy's P.O.V
"Wait a minute, you don't have a poltergust 3000" Mark said. "Well looks like you'll just have to protect me then" I batted my eyes pretending to be a helpless damsel. He laughed, "we both know your gonna hate that" "I know, so give me the poltergust 3000" I tried to grab it. I was unsuccessful, "hey now, Amy I know you aren't the defenseless type but come on let me have this one victory?" I couldn't argue, I wasn't the defenseless type but I let him have his "Victory". "Where to?" I asked following him up the stairs. "Well we need to get the gears from the red ghosts, don't you think?" "Um, yeah top priority." I give him a fake smile and thumbs up, I couldn't help it this place has got me on edge. Too bad we couldn't split up, it would make this simpler. We went upstairs to the door on the left entering yet another hallway. "We'll just start from this door, and make our way down the hallway" he pointed to the door in front of the hallway and the doors farther away. We entered the first door, it was the parlor room. "Man, someone really needs to make a map for this place" I said that in a quieter tone, I didn't feel conformable using my normal tone of voice.
There was a phonograph in there, "How old is this place?" that's when I noticed Mark wasn't saying much. I decided to stop talking, I started to fiddle with the phonograph crank in the middle of the room. Then the music starts to play and a ghost pops out of it, with one of the gears! Mark quickly grabs the poltergust 3000, it wasn't easy to suck him up in it though. Much harder than the green ghosts. With one final tug he was sucked up, the gear dropped on the floor. I went over and picked it up, "whats keeping those ghosts from coming right back out?" I looked confused at the mouth of it. "Magic" I rolled my eye's, if you couldn't tell I believe in logic not magic, "I really don't know it's hard to say." He probably said that because of the look of utter disbelief on my face.
Mark's P.O.V
I answered her with an actual answer, well what she would consider one to be. She didn't believe in magic, never did. She was always that one kid that would always know it was the parents, but she didn't exactly ruin it for everyone else. Everything that had to do with magic she knew couldn't be true, she was that tough don't believe in fairy tales kinda girl. I like that about her. So we went to the other room next to the parlor, it was a bedroom. "What a weird place for a bedroom" I simply stated. "Well then you don't know much about house designing do you?" I smirk, "like you do?" she didn't say anything after that. She also doesn't like to be called out, but to be honest, who does? "Wait, I just noticed something if this is the bedroom, wheres the bed?" I looked around she had a point. I found a leather pull string, like the ones for curtains, I pulled on it. "Found the bed" I laughed as the bed fell down in front of me. She decided to sit on the bed, as soon as she did the bed folded up. "Amy!!" "I'm still alive" I hear her say from the other side of the wall. "But not for long."
Sorry this chapter was short I just wasn't feeling it today, I promise the next chapter will be regularly long. So, T.T.F.N ta ta for now! ^.^
