"what the fuck is a flat bread?" michael sighs as he stands in a supermarket with luke and luke shrugs as he sifts through boxes of pizza. "i mean, it's pizza right?" luke asks and they hear a loud squeal, both of them looking up. two teenage girls sprint up the aisle and michael's eyes widen in horror.
he shuffles closer to luke and luke looks down at him in confusion, normally michael was very comfortable around fans. nevertheless, luke hooks an arm around him and pulls him in gently. "oh my god, oh my god!" one of the girl pants in excitement and michael looks around in confusion.
"hey." luke smiles at them and the girl have heart eyes towards luke. "h-hi?" michael says anxiously and one of the girls is beaming at him lovingly. "can i have a hug?" she asks and michael nods slowly, opening his arms and she runs into them. michael looks up at luke as he hugs her back, giving luke a confused look.
"are you two dating?" the other girl asks and luke chuckles and shakes his head, scratching his neck and the girl separates from michael, still beaming. "who was that in michael's snapchat the other day? was it you and a girl?" she asks luke and michael bites his lip as the other girl hugs him tightly.
"uhh... i don't really want to answer that." luke tells her and her eyes widen. "oh god, i'm sorry." she apologises hurriedly and luke just smiles at her, "it's okay, but do you know flat bread is? ashton asked us to get some and i have no idea what that is."
luke asks and they both giggle adoringly and nod, the brunette lifts her arm and points to a bakery display. "it's the one that looks like pizza but it's not." she informs and luke smiles and thanks them before walking to the flat breads with michael. "you okay, babe?" luke asks and michael nods a little, dazed from what just happened.
luke runs his hand on michael's back before picking up a flatbread and putting it in their basket. "oh my god mike, they have custard donuts." luke says in shock and michael turns and licks his lips at the food. but, he had decided that that night he was going to go back to 2016 to see how things how things had changed.
