If I were to theeward so amoured
As thou so, art to Me allured
Would I command thee to hear my voice
Uninvited, thy space encroach
"Raise your veil, make show of face"
Explore thy Heart with bitter reproach
Make merry and laugh,
despite public gaze, and in presence of Staff;
Sip from thy lips.
Till drunkenness doth make
Love versus Lust
Which sport shall we take?
Lust every time! should be my reply
That other is extinct
Due to decline
of unwavering Heart
and lack of fresh blood on the vine.
Then lo! come yet awhile, let us peramble.
Perchance it goes, we may tangle.
For then only might thou decide
If I be Rogue, Player, Vagabond ,
Or Taster of New wine.......
