Chapter 25 - In one week

Ally POV

"Shall we go back to the swingset today? To see if it's repaired yet" I say. 

"Sure!" Austin says and we walk to the playground. It's still broken, and we decide to take a closer look at it. There is something new written on the swing. 

"Oh no!" I say and show it to Austin. 

"In one week" Austin reads out loud. 

"Now we know that she will actually do something, and in a week! That's so soon, will we have enough time to plan something with the police?" I ask, question after question not giving him time to answer them. 

"I don't know" He says. "But, we can always try, we'll wait for the police to call" He says and we walk back to Austin's house. I'm squeezing Austin's hand, I'm scared again.

*3 days later*

Austin POV

"They didn't call yet, you should call them" Ally says, as we're sitting at the dining table, with my phone in between us on the table, waiting for the police to call. 

"Okay, I'll call them" I say and pick up my phone, I dial the same number as about a week ago and then the same person speaks: "Hello, what do you want to report or ask?" 

"Well, I'm Austin Moon, I called about a week ago about Kira Starr who is threatening us, you didn't call us yet. We have some new information about her so we decided to call you" 

"Well, what's the new information?" The person asked. "She left us some sort of note on a swing set, which broke when my girlfriend sat on it. I think that she did that too. But anyways, the note said that she will do something in one week. So, that means 4 days from now." 

"We will make sure that there will be some cops around the house, they'll be there before the sun rises, so no worries, it will be all right" 

"Okay, thank you for helping us" I say and put the phone down. 

"They will get a few cops and they will look after our house, and search for her with all the information we gave them" 

"Okay, I hope it works" Ally says. "The cop said that it'll be all right, no worries" I say and hug her.

Ally POV

I opened my diary and wrote down: 'Days came and went away, there was only one day left until 'the day'. I really hope that the police men will protect us enough, we've seen what she can do, and it is crazy. And I also know that Austin will be there for me, that's why I love him. I can't wait for this thing with Kira to end so he can ask me to marry him, if he still wants that. It's already late, so I'm going to sleep. I hope tomorrow won't be really bad' I put my pencil and diary down and lay down in my bed under the covers, Austin is already asleep. I kiss his forehead and also drift off to sleep.
