Holly P.O.V
I was washing the dishes after we had our dinner. We ordered an indian curry. It was lovely.
Jon and Russell were sat in the living room watching the t.v. When we were eating we were all having a good laugh. I was really enjoying it here. I am so glad I met Russell because if I hadn't met him I would be with my mum and she would have probably been beating me.
I then herd my old phone ring. Russell hasn't destroyed it yet. I went over to answer it. "Hello?" I said.
"Holly where the fuck are you?" Shouted my mum. She was angry.
"W-why do you care. Y-you sent me a text saying you didn't want me b-back."
"You will come back. You're step dad saw you in London today, holding hands with someone. You know you're not allowed to have boyfriends or friends."
"He is just a friend." I said quietly.
"Well you shouldn't even know him. You need to come back home!"
"N-no."
"That's it. We are going to find you and when we do you are going to be in so much trouble and pain." She hung up. I am so scared now. She is literally going to kill me.
Russell P.O.V
I walked into the kitchen to see Holly lowering her old phone from her ear and she was shaking. "Holly." I said rushing towards her.
"My step dad saw me today and that made my mum angry. She is looking for me." Said Holly quietly. She was looking at the ground. "I'm so s-cared." She burst into tears. I wrapped my arms around her to soothe her.
"Shhh. It will be alright-"
"I knew it." Jon interrupted. His face changed when he saw Holly crying. "What's happened?" Jon asked concerned.
"Her mums is threatening her." I said to him. I looked at him. He must have thought Holly and I was going out without him knowing. I shook my head at him. Jon moved closer. I looked at Holly. "You will be fine. Stick with me and Jon-"
"Jon and I." Interrupted Jon.
"Does it matter." I said jokingly. It made Holly giggle. She pulled away and whipped the tears from her face.
"Ok." She said. "But it won't just be my mum looking for me. It will be my step dad and younger step brother."
Younger step brother? She must have an older one.
"Do you have an older step brother then?" I asked.
"Yeah, but he doesn't get involved with my step dad and mum. He protects me." She explained.
"Ok well since he is not here Jon and I will protect you." I said.
"Thanks." She smiled.
"Wait. I don't understand. You have surely just had an argument with your family." Jon said confused.
"No Jon." I said. Holly explained to Jon what she explained to me last night. When he realised he started to ask questions.
"Did you tell the police?" He asked.
"Yeah but they didn't believe me. They thought I had a stupid little argument. They also told me that I could alway move away because I'm old enough however they didn't seem to understand that my mum would go searching for me. They thought everything I said was made up as well." She explained.
"Well I understand why Russell wants to keep you here safe." Jon said. I smiled at him. Now he understands why I am being so nice to Holly.
"I think we should go to the police tomorrow. See if they are better now than they were last time you went." I said. "We will go with you."
"Ok. Thank you." She said.
"Well lets go in the living room and have a drink of wine." Said Jon. Holly and I started to laugh. "What it makes everything better." He defended.
"Ok Jon." I said.
We all walked into the living room and had a glass of wine.
