I really felt ackward going downstairs and telling everyone that Nimra had finally agreed to marry me...
Seeing Nimra's suppprt made me realise that i have my best friend beside me
Though i would not be able to measure up to give her all the love she deserves but i would definately give it my best shot to provide her with all the comforts because of which she has left her dreams aside
She slipped her hand through mine and gave me a re-assuring smile
A smile that often eased up my moods of tension even during college days
We both went down together and then i finally mustered to speak out what we had to say
"Ammi,Abbu...main aur Nimra ek doosre se nikaah karne ke liye taiyaar hai...aap kal maulvi sahab ko ghar par bulalena...we want a simple nikkah and not a grand affair..."
I looked at Nimra and she nodded her head approvingly as well
Everyone became happy and started congratulating us

A simple wedding...
A few guests...

This had not always been my dream
I wanted to have a big fat indian wedding but after the death of Sanaa and after Hussain agreeing to marry me i realised one thing...
Love is that unique feeling that cannot be bought or be measured upto using the power of wealth
Just having the person you love by your side is that kind of a wealth,you would wanna treasure for eternities

My family
And....
Having my best friend by my side..
Is one of the best weddings i could ever have
A mehndhi artist was called for to paint my hands with mehndhi and haldi was applied as well at first
When the mehndhi artist was about to complete her design,she asked me...
"Aapke shohar ka naam kya hai..mujhe unka naam aapki mehndhi main likhna hai.."
Before i could answer her question,
Hussain arrived there with a plate of food..
"Inke shohar ka naam hai,Hussain"
Hearing this words from his mouth made me blush really hard
Hussain sat across me with a plate of food and offered me a morsel
He continued feeding me with his own hands lovingly and the mehndhi artist just kept on looking at us...
"Aap dono ki jodi badi pyaari lag rahi hai...Allah aap dono ko khush rakhe"
Hussain and i looked at each other and suddenly our gaze was broken by a loud shrill from Aarzoo
Panic invaded my body and i found her crying while Sofiya bhabhi was trying hard to pacify her but to no avail
I did not bother to care about the colour of the mendhi
All i bothered about was my daughter,Aarzoo
I went to the wash-basin and removing all the mendhi off and drying my hands,i rushed and took Aarzoo from Sofiya bhabhi and carressed her tight to calm her down

I could not believe what i was seeing
Aarzoo is not even the real blood and flesh of Nimra yet Nimra cares for her so much
Approaching her wedding day,every girl would want to look a beautiful dulhania
Nimra,on the other hand os totally different fron the rest
As soon as she heard Aarzoo's shrill,she immediately went and washed off her mehndhi...
Not caring about the colour
Only caring about Aarzoo...
She had tears flowing from her eyes the moment she held Aarzoo close to her and carressed her tightly and quietly went to her room with Aarzoo
(The next morning)
It was painful...
Re-marrying once again
When i buttoned up the sherwani i had worn on my first nikkah,those wedding memories with Sanaa came rushing back
Tears welled up in my eyes and wiping them away i tried smiling a bit
Shehry came to escort me down as the maulvi had arrived
He looked at me and then hugged me really tightly
Upon reaching downstairs,i saw her sitting opposite me
In the wedding dress that Sanaa had worn during our nikkah
I felt like Sanaa was right infront of me
The maulvi came forward and started praying the nikkah
"Hussain Asif,kya aapko Nimra Qureshi ke saath yeh nikaah qubool hai???"
Tears built up in my eyes once more but Aarzoo's thought calmed me down and so...
"Jee...qubool hai,qubool hai,qubool hai.."
The maulvi crossed over to Nimra's side to ask for her approval and consent
"Nimra Qureshi,kya aapko Hussain Asif ke saath yeh nikaah qubool hai??"
Her reply came back...
"Qubool hai,qubool hai,qubool hai!!!!!"
