I hope you all enjoy this chapter(If any of you make it this far!)
Kara and Taron came back out of the house and with them walked a rebel, he was more highly dressed than the rest of them. He wore a black leather jacket, a pair of black jeans, and a red t-shirt. His black hair blew in the wind. It was coated with red streaks, I wasn't sure if they were blood or dye. His belt was filled with fighting and throwing knives. He had a gun slung over his back. A scar ran down the left side of his face, over his eye and across his mouth. It stood out on his lighter complexion.
You shouldn't be here Zane." He said slyly, his mouth twisting into a sneer. "After the last time we met I would gave thought you'd learned your lesson about me. I never forgive."
"You can't hold it against me forever." I replied.
"You got my daughter killed." He shouted, his voice angry. His hand shot to his belt. My instinct took over and I kicked his hand. The knife he had grabbed fell to the ground. I grabbed his wrists and slammed him into the wall. Before he could attempt to get free, I said:
"Your daughter wasn't my fault." I shouted. "I loved Emma, just as much as you did." In the side of my vision I saw a questioning look appear on Krista's face.
"Emma is dead because you wouldn't stop being a part of her life." He said, his voice wavered.
"I loved her!" I shouted, tears in my eyes. I let him go and stepped back. "Take us to the rebel camp." I said my voice cracked. He didn't say anything. "Now." My voice had its old force back. I dried my eyes and began walking. I yanked my knife from my belt.

"How do you know if you like somebody?"  I asked. Kara and I were walking, out of earshot, just behind Zane and Taron , who were about 20 paces behind the rebel. We all held our guns in our hands.
"Who do you think you like?" She asked me strangely.
"Zane," I said after a few long moments. She almost laughed. I stared ahead at Zane, his blonde hair blowing in the wind.
"Wow, oh, okay," she said. "How do you know?" Her smile was evident.
"We almost kissed," I replied. "In the bunker. Then, when he said something about that girl, Emma, I felt weird."
"That's called jealousy," she said bluntly her smile dispersing. "I felt the same way last month when Taron was talking to that girl who has a crush on him, Marie."
"So what do I do?" I asked her, looking away from Zane.
"Go talk to him," she said. "Tell him how you feel about him. And he will probably feel the same about you, all you have to do is tell him how you feel to get the ball rolling." She stated.
    "Probably!" I shouted. She smiled.
"Just go," she said, as she pushed me forward. I began to walk forward, but as I got behind Zane he turned around and we ran into each other. His arms wrapped around me, and he looked into my crystal blue eyes while I stare into his beautiful, green ones.

I glanced sideways at Taron. He was staring straight ahead, more than likely thinking about Kara. I spoke up asking "Can I have some advice?"
"Sure." He said. "What about?" He asked genuinely intrigued.
"Krista," I replied. "How can I tell how she feels about me?" I ask.
"You tell her how you feel," he stated. "And she might tell you how she feels, and it might be good. Wait, do you like her?" His voice raised, making me cringe thinking Krista might hear us.
"I think so," I say softly. "We almost kissed in the bunker."
"Nice man." He said, while turning to look at me. "You should go and tell her how you feel. Just tell Kara that I need to talk to her, or something. Then look at Krista and tell her how you feel. Now go man." I turned around. Just as I did, I ran into Krista. She fell, and out of impulse I grab her, stopping her descent. I stare into her eyes. Her crystal blue eyes are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. In my peripheral vision I see Kara hurry past us.
"Krista I have to tell you something," I say. I gaze into her eyes. "I think I love you." I say.
She looked at me blankly. "I feel the same way." She says.
I lean down. Our lips meet. We stay like this for a while. Krista is amazing. When the kiss finally ends, we stand up. I look into her eyes. She turns, and begins walking. Looking at her from behind, seeing her long brown hair flowing behind her, I realize, from this angle, she looks exactly like Emma. In my mind, I see Emma, the way she was two months ago, the day I watched her die in my arms. I force the image from my mind, and jog to catch up with Krista.
