I had a flash back. It was the day she died. I was standing in the auditorium. The jumbo screen showed my mother kneeling. Her arms chained to a post. As the president walked out everyone clapped. It was a sad clap but the president didn't care.
"Hello and welcome to the trial, and death, of Asmara Telaro." He said.
She looked up tears running down her face.
"Asmara you are convicted of theft, terrorism, and second degree murder. Do u admit to this?" The presidential speakers announced.
"I didn't kill him, you did!" She screamed in a dry, raspy voice.
Wait, kill who? They both knew I was alive so who is the man they are talking about?
"You are crazy lady. Now ADMIT!!" He screamed.
"I'll never admit to you, traitor!" She said.
I heard the gun, but my vision is black.

The sound rang in my ears. My vision came back. I was lying in the woods.
My sister was sitting beside me.
"I still don't know your name." I said.
"My name is Kara. And I know yours is Zane." She replied. "What if I told you that your father never had the plague."
   "I'd say you're crazy." I replied.
"My father said your mother killed him, But I doubt he was being honest." She said.
"Ahhhh" I said while holding my shoulder.
"Drink this" Kara said. It was a bowl of clear liquid. I sipped it
"So who's ur dad?" I asked.
   "The president," She mumbled.
I spit my drink out. "WHAT!" I screamed. The president was married to my mom? Then why did he kill her in cold blood? "How do you know all this?" I asked.
"I was doing research on the League to see if there was anything on you, and I found my family tree." She stated. "It said my mother, was also married to my uncle, Marcus. After a little more digging I found out they had a child. You, and all this said that you were dead, but I went to my grandma and she told me the real story. She always hated my father, ever since he became president."
"Well what did she say?" I ask, half shouting.
"My father left your mother, because she was bad for his reputation." Kara said. My uncle and your... Our mother, began a relationship after a few months. You were born a year after my father left. The records all say that she killed your father, but I think it was my father who killed him.  But I can't find out why."
"I think I might have an idea," I began. "I think my parents wanted to kill or overthrow your father. Kara, he isn't a good leader and my mother wanted to change the way this country is being led, and my father did too."
"No," Kara began. "He can't be he-"
"Kara!" I shouted. "He never thought of anyone except himself. Did he ever even say he loved you? Ever."
"No." Kara spat, tears in her eyes.
"Kara, you can't call him a good person if he never showed you affection. You were his daughter. All he did was blind you from who he really is, a murderer."
"No!" She shouted. "He loved me, and this country!" I could see the pain and doubt in her eyes.
"Kara that man said the League was gonna kill you for failure." I barked. "Think of it like this, would your father have stopped your execution? Even if it made him look bad in front of the country, or would he let you die?"
Kara never answered that. She stood up and turned away. Then she ran. I sprang to my feet. I saw stars. Chasing her was hard. My vision was bleak. After about 15 yards of running, I tripped and fell down a hillside. My vision disappeared. The last thing I saw was the sun rising, and a helicopter fly above me, then I heard shouts.
