-Marcel's P.O.V.-

Today is the day. I'm finally going to tell her. Harry called me last night, nagging me, saying a year is too long to wait and tell someone you love them.

She is so happy now and I want to tell her while she's still like that. So, I took her to my house. She looked up at me confused but I smiled at her and helped her out of the car.

"Why are we at your house?" She asked curiously, closing the car door behind her.

"It's a surprise..." I said, I held up a white cloth and she arched an eyebrow. "It wouldn't be a proper surprise without suspense." I shook it, asking her permission and after a moment, she nodded.

I went behind her and covered her eyes. She got a bit scared and her hand automatically shot out to mine. I put an arm around her shoulders, unlocked the door and slowly guided her inside.

She sniffed the air for a moment and hummed. "It smells really good in here." She moved her head around blindly, trying to find the source of the scent.

I chuckled and gently sat her down in a seat. I made dinner for the occasion. I really hope she likes Italian.

"Alright, Marcel. The suspense is killing me. Now take this thing off my face." She said, pointing at the blindfold around her eyes.

I laughed and untied it, letting her see the food. She gasped and smiled. "Did you cook? This looks amazing!" She looks around the table and back at me.

I blushed and nodded. "U-um...yeah...Do you like it?" I asked nervously. Please like it, please like it, please like it.

"Like it? I love it. Thank you..." I nodded, smiling nervously and sat in the seat next to hers and we dug into the food.

"How's it taste?" I asked as she took a bite.

She nodded happily, swallowing. "It's delicious, Marcel...I didn't know you could cook!"

"Yeah...well." I shrugged awkwardly and moved food around my plate with my fork.

After we had eaten our food, I had poured some wine and turned to her.

Now's the time. Don't mess this up.

"T-there's something I-I've been meaning to t-tell you..." My hands were sweating and I felt anxiety rush over me.

She looked at me surprised and then smiled, taking a sip of wine. "Go ahead."

"W-well...um...over the year, since you'd first walked into my office, really...I've thought you were the m-most beautiful w-women I'd ever seen..." She was blushing pink by now and smiling softly. "A-and it took me a while to r-realize it, but y-you are the most amazing and bravest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting...s-so what I'm t-trying t-to say is...is..."

Say it!

"Yes?" She said quietly, leaning forward in anticipation.

"I-I...I love you..." I blushed and looked down at my feet, afraid to see her face.

After a minute or two, I felt a hand under my chin and my head was raised to look at her. Her face was close to mine and she chuckled.

"Silly, silly man..." I blushed harder. Oh god. She's going to reject me. I know it.

"I-I love you too..."

My eyes widened and my pulse picked up. She does? She loves me t-too? I couldn't believe what I'd just hear and I was about to say something, but I was interrupted by her lips on mine.
