Chapter 27 - Ten Questions!!

Shanaya's P.O.V.

I woke up next day on time and got ready for the college. I borrowed Aaliya's dress and decided to go to college in my real self. Her dress fits me perfectly and I kept my hair open with a middle partition in between. I didn't wear my specs too. I want to stay real for now.

I applied the cream on my face to save my skin from drying and after applying lip gloss and my favourite perfume, I left the room throwing my bag over my shoulder.

Aaliya was already in the kitchen. She was making toast. She looked up to see me as soon as I placed my bag on the kitchen stool and her expressionless face turned into an evil smirk. I rolled my eyes because I can understand her silence. She doesn't need to speak even to convey any message to me. I know her that much.

"Guess, Dan's gonna be lucky today. He had to protect you from the boys who are gonna hit you today", she said and I shake my head. Although, picturing Dan going all possessive for me does make me smile and blush a bit.

I had my breakfast and a car honk from outside just made me jump out of my seat. My appetite was lost as soon as the excitement of seeing Dan erupt inside me. Aaliya gave me a confused look.

"Dan is here. I'm going with him", I said and hurriedly picked up my bag.

"Use protection on way", she yelled from behind and I groaned with my cheeks turning red.

"Shut up", I yelled back and walked out of the house.

The drive was silent but Dan held my hand just like last night. His touch made small butterflies erupt inside my stomach. As soon as we parked the car and came out, much to my disliking, Mr. Monster too parked his car at a distance and came out. He looked at me and I glared at him.

Aaliya too came in meantime and they both got busy in talking. Dan walked over to me and said, "Shall we?".

"I've to go to the office. I'll join you later", I said.

"Ok. I'll pick you up after college", he said and I nodded. We both entered the college together but Dan made his way towards class and I, towards the office.

I submitted my papers but the process was so tiring. Hardly, I knew I have to run between the administrative block and principal office again and again. I took a long time. I couldn't join Aaliya for the last minute shopping and Dan too left college without me. I made him go forcefully. Although he was persistent of staying because he's a sweetheart and the whole world knows that, but I managed to persuade him.

The time I came back home, Aaliya was already left with two of our college mates. I don't understand why does she need to have so many people around her? Aren't four people enough for the trip?

She's a social butterfly and that explains everything, I thought.

I was left with no option but to join Kristein Oberoi for this trip because he was late too. I guess that's ok. I can bear that monster as long as Dan and Aaliya are together. I can't help but feel a bit jealous for thinking about Aaliya and Dan together but this feeling will subside with time.
