The fun expression in my face was worn off when I saw him. What is he doing? He’s alone, fighting a gang, and his shirt is practically covered in blood.

I don’t know why I kind of feel uneasy when I saw that it was Zach fighting with some goons alone. I kind of felt the want to help him. But I can’t. He knew me from school and he will be surprised if he’ll be seeing me fighting like an assassin. It’ll blow up my cover. And another thing, I hated him.

I bit my lower lip trying to stop myself to help this poor Zach. I mean, the stupid jerk.

He is now laid on the hot surface with blood all over him. I really don't know, but I felt a little guilt and I bit my lip harder.

“Fuck, I can’t take it anymore.!”

I got out of my car and ran towards the guys that are now kicking Zach on the middle of the street.

“Hey!” I called them in a confident tone. They turned their heads to look at me and one guy said. “Who the heck are you? Huwag ka ngang makisali ditto.  Ang tapang pawang Nerd lang naman.”

They continued beating up Zach while I was left there still standing. I tilted my head and said, “Whatever you’re saying.”

I lounged at the man nearest to me, I got hold of his arm and twisted it. He shrieked and it got the other men’s attention.

One of the men tried to attack me with a punch but I easily dodged it and got down to my knee level and grabbed his leg and twisted it. The man yelped with pain. I stood up and vaulted from one man’s back to the other and punched him at his face.

After I’d beaten up each one until the very last one of them, I went to Zach who’s now unconscious. I tried checking his pulse.

“I’m too late.” I said in a low voice.

“I’m too late to go to school. I'll just skip one time. Just this time." I sighed. He’s still fine so I’ll just have to take him to my penthouse and give him remedy.

I carried him from the parking lot to my penthouse. Of course I rode the elevator, it would take me days to get to my penthouse if I didn’t, since I have Zach on my shoulders.

I laid him down to the bed in the living room to give him rest. I looked at him for a second and I had to admit, he’s got looks. He’s half American I assume. His cute long lashes that matches his dark hair, his perfect structured nose and his captivating pinkish lips that tempts me to kiss him.

I shrugged myself. I’ve never been so descriptive about guys. I’ve never even got attracted to one.  I shouldn’t be thinking about these.

I left him in the bed and went to the Bathroom to look for a first aid kit. Fortunately, I found one. I just got to give him a cure and then take him home.

I went back to the living room where Zach is. I placed the kit at the bedside. I took out a cotton and a liquid thingy and cleaned his wounds and bandaged each one of it. His body have been beaten up too much, thus, he would be sleeping for too long.

I left him there to take a rest because early tomorrow, I’ll be taking him home before he could even wake up.

I walk up early the other day. I got up from my bed and walked out the room. I locked my room to keep it safe if ever Zach wakes up and enter every room in my penthouse. Also, I hid my glasses. You know why.

I went straight to Zach’s bed and looked at him just like what I did last night.

I stumbled down when I saw him opened his eyes and grabbed me from my waist. He exchanged position with me and that left me laid down under him with a I-can’t-believe-I’m-in-this-position look.

He looked at me. Examining me. There was a smirk in his face making me pissed off.

I managed to twist my body and got out from his hold. I stood up and said, “Get yourself ready. I’m taking you back to your home.”

I turned myself from him and walked to my room but I heard him say. “Can’t I just live here? It seemed like you took me home.” I heard him chuckled a little. Bastard.

I didn’t bother answering his nonsense words. I changed in my room. I’m on my jeans, a black sweater and a combat boots. I looked at myself at the mirror. “Beautiful Ceana” I said with a smile. I didn’t know why I suddenly became conscious with how I look.

I went out the room and saw him sitting at the couch, his feet on my crystal blue coffee table.

“Get your feet off my table.” I managed to say while I walked to my kitchen.

I grabbed two Potato salads and two sandwiches in my fridge and walked back to the living room.

“Get out of my penthouse. You’re going home.” I told him when I handed him the salad and the sandwich.

“So you saved me huh?” He asked when we’re in the car. I had my Bugatti Veyron with me. I had to use it since I’m not on my disguise. He knew my face and my car since we’re on the same class remember?

“I didn’t save you. I just want to punch those stupid gangsters.” I retorted with a serious look on my face. I shouldn’t tell him that I had help him because he would really assume I have something about him.

I saw a disappointed look at his face. He looked cute with that, but of course, I didn’t let him know that.

“So why’d you took me to your penthouse then?” he asked in an intrigued voice?

“Because I thought you’re a stray Kid in the streets getting beat up by thugs.” I said straightly. I  thought I’ll have that reason to make him annoyed.

“Stray kid? This handsome face can never be accused of being a stray kid.” He looked away from me and just stared outside.

“Well... you could be a handsome stray kid.” I said with a smirk on my face.

He never said a word at what I said because I saw him, already asleep.

I don’t know why I’d managed to smile at this guy. He is just an ordinary person who went to the same school with me and the one who talked to me the last time and I just cannot fathom the idea why I feel something weird towards him.

I looked at him attentively. I felt my body flinched and I can feel the erratic beat of my heart. It gave me chills. I felt weird.

I shrugged and just focused myself in driving the car and said, “It’s Okay Ceana. You're not having it”
