Mckenzie Zenia Narcissa Malfoy

There was a pale, blonde-haired girl standing on the balcony of the closest room to the garden of the Malfoy manor.

And that would be me.

"Mckenzie, come down for breakfast." a female voice called from downstairs.

"Coming!" I called.

I ran down the stairs, my light, curly hair bouncing behind me.

"Morning,Zee." A boy with similar blonde hair grinned.

"Morning, Draco." I smiled.

"Children, aren't you forgetting something?" our dad, Lucius Malfoy, asked.

"Good morning father." Draco and I answered.

"Have you seen Rapture?" I asked the two boys.

Rapture's my owl, my great horned owl.

"He was on the fifth floor last time I saw him." Draco answered, raising his eyebrows.

"In the owlery?" I asked.

"Yeah.." Drake answered slowly.

"Kay, thanks!" I smiled as I ran up the five flights of stairs.

Breathing heavily, I walked into the owlery where there were about twenty owls flitting around the room.

I held my arm out and Rapture flew right onto my arm.

"Hi there, Rap." I cooed.

Tied to his leg, was one envelope with a familular crest on the front, sealing the letter.

I untied the letter off of Rapture's leg and petted his head softly.

I opened the other envelope with the seal on it, and read.

Dear Ms. Mckenzie Zenia Narcissa Malfoy,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Also inside the envelope was a second piece of parchment saying:

HOGWARTS SCHOOL

of WHICHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:

1.Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2.One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3.One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4.One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2)

1 set glass or crystal phials

1 telescope

1 set brass scales

Students may also bring and owl OR a cat OR a toad.

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS

Then Draco's eagle owl flew in.

"D-Draco! Your owl has a letter!" I called.

"Mckenzie, darling, is everything okay?" my mother called.

"Yeah, I'm fine mum, thanks!" I called back.

Then I heard someone running up the stairs.

"What did you say, Kenzy?" Draco asked, coming up from behind me.

"Your owl has a letter for you." I responded.

"Oh, good!" he grinned.

He opened up the letter and I was also from Hogwarts.

He quickly scanned through the papers.

"I got accepted to Hogwarts!" he yelled, much too excited.

"I knew you would as soon as I got my letter... I mean.. We are twins... One can't go without the other, right?" I asked wondrously.

"Right!" Draco grinned.

"Let's go tell mum and dad!" Draco added, running down all the stairs.

"Yeah, sure." I whispered while he ran down the flights of stairs and I quickly followed after him.

"Mum! Dad! Zee and I got accepted to Hogwarts!" Draco yelled.

"Congratulations kids!" dad smirked, the famous 'Malfoy smirk.'

"That's very good." mum smiled.

"We should get your supplies now." father added.

"Yay!" Draco and I exclaimed in unison.
