Lucas's POV:

I can't believe I just did that. I do like her, no, I love her. But I can't hurt riley, she'll never forgive me. But I hurt Maya, and even if she does forgive me, I'll never forgive myself.

I know what I have to do.

I run into the bathroom and take out my phone and text Maya.

(Lucas is 🐎😭 in Maya's phone and Maya is 🍮💜)

Lucas🐎😭- hey, Maya I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have done that, the truth is, I like you too, I just didn't want to hurt Riley, but then I realized I hurt you and I'll never forgive myself if I don't do this.

Maya🍮💜- it's fine Lucas, just go make your princess happy.

Lucas🐎😭- I don't want to I want to make my short stack of pancakes happy.

Maya🍮💜- where are you? You're supposed to be in class.

Lucas🐎😭- I'm in the janitors closet.

Lucas🐎😭- pancakes?

Lucas🐎😭- Maya??

Suddenly I hear the door open, and there stands the famous Maya hart.

"Maya!" I yell and run up to her and hug her.

"Cowboy." She says.

"Maya, I love you, I want to be with you. I promise you I will always treat you right. I will never hurt you like I just did. I honestly do love you." I say.

"And I love you too. But what about Riley." She asks.

"I'll break up with her, I'm sure she'll understand." I explain.

"Ok." She responds with a goofy smile.

I grab her by the waist, and she puts her arms around my neck. I pull her closer to me and kiss her.

The kiss turns a bit heated. I lick her bottom lip asking for entrance, she accepts and parts her lips. I quickly explore her mouth with my tongue, and then our tongues fight for dominance. I win.

I move my hands down to her butt and she jumps, wrapping her legs around my waist. I start unbuttoning her shirt.

"Not yet." She winks and jumps off me.

"Where are you going?" I ask when I see her opening the door.

"Class, you should try it sometime." She responds.

"Alright, I'll be right there." I wink.

She walks out to class, and I get my stuff and walk out as well. I wait until she goes in and go in after her.

"Mr. Friar. Why are you late?" He asks.

"I was helping this kid with his homework." I answer simply and sit down.

I take out a piece of paper and give it to Riley.

The note says:

Riley, I'm breaking up with you, I love you, I really do. But as a sister, I think I love someone else. I'm sorry.

When she reads it she gives me a sympathetic look and asks who.

I point at Maya and she nods. She then tells me that she likes me too. Boy does she know.

I turn forward and start playing with Maya's hair that is infront of me.

She turns around and playfully rolls her eyes.
