The cool air sent a chill through Maya's body and she wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to warm up.
"Cold, babe?" Lucas asks her
"A bit," she admits, shooting Lucas a grin.
Without another word, he slipped the scarf from around his neck and wrapped it around Mayas, running his hands over her shoulders and then taking her hand in his own.
"We're almost at the store," he said, pointing ahead with his free hand.
Lucas was very patient, letting Maya wander around and chuckling each time she would grab his arm and point something out, for him to reach since she couldn't
The snow started coming down as they left the store and started walking through the streets with the bag of goodies.
"Lucas, it's snowing!" Maya squealed, tugging at his arm.
"It is, my baby," he replied, totally amused by her smile.
"I have a surprise for you," he said, putting his arm around Maya and tucking her into his side.
"What is it?" Maya asked curiously.
"It's our love"
"how is that a surprise" Maya asked.
"Are you not getting it yet" he asked her.
"Getting what"
"I love you," he said,
"I love you, too," Maya replied,
"And this is the first time we told each other this" Lucas says too her.
"It is?.. funny i thought we had already said it a million times
