Finding Noah: Part 2

As Munch and Liv reached SVU, Munch sighs. He hates seeing his friend so vulnerable. Especially since he sees her as family. They head into the squad room and as Liv sits down at her desk and Munch sits across from her, Fin comes up to her with a coffee. Fin smiles at Liv as she takes the coffee. He sees Munch.

"Well, I can't believe my eyes, it's the great Munch come back from the DA's office." Munch smiles.

"Yeah, well, when Alex called me I knew I needed to be here for Liv. Besides, you miss this handsome face." They all laugh and Fin walks away. Liv grabs a framed picture of Alex and Noah taken last month at the zoo. Noah was watching the tigers while Alex was holding him so he could see. That was an awesome day. Noah wouldn't let Alex and Liv out of his sight that day. She puts the picture down and leans back in her chair.

"Munch, we should go through my past cases and see who would wanna hurt me through my son." Munch nods and they get to work. All Liv could think of was getting Noah home safely. They went through cases for what seemed like an eternity when Liv's phone went off. She jumps and answers it.

"Benson," she sighs when it's just Ashley.

"Liv, we're on our way back. We found a witness who saw someone take Noah from the swings." Liv takes a deep breath.

"Thanks, Ashley. Munch and I will be here. I'll call Alex to tell her to come in." She hangs up and calls Alex.

"Alex, hey. Ashley said a witness came forward about Noah's kidnapping. They're bringing them in now. Can you be here quickly?"

"Liv, I'll be wherever you need me to be. See ya soon, babe." They hang up and Liv gets up to stretch. Munch gets up.

"Liv," he puts an arm on her shoulder. "Noah will be alright. Hopefully this witness will give us something we can truly work with." Liv hugs him.

"Thanks for being here, John." She tears up a little bit but calms down as they hear the elevator ding and the familiar sound of heels. Liv turns around and runs to Alex, hugging her. They kiss and Munch clears his throat.

"Um, not that I wasn't enjoying that," they all laugh. "But I can bet the team is on their way." Liv sits back at her desk as Alex sits on the edge like she always does. The silence is broken by the sound of the elevator. They head out of Liv's office and Liv stops in her tracks. The witness is none other than Don Cragen. Liv takes a deep breath.

"Hey, Cragen." Cragen nods as he is taken to an interrogation room. Ashley and Nick walk up to her as Amanda takes the cigarette to get processed.

"Guys, what happened?" Nick sighs as he runs his hand through his hair.

"We were checking every place we could when Cragen came up and told us what he saw, we called a sketch artist on the way they should be here soon. Apparently, he was coming out of the bathroom when he saw a guy, about 6'2", wearing denim jeans, black sneakers and a dark grey hoodie with dark sunglasses. He noticed he had a rebel star tattoo on the right side of his neck. That's all he could give us." Liv sighs.

"That's better than nothing, Nick. I'll stay out here and try to see if I can get any names. Munch, can you watch the interrogation for me?" Munch nods and heads off with Nick and Ashley. Alex follows Liv back into her office. Liv looks at Alex.

"Alex, you better go too. I need some time to think." Alex kisses Liv's cheek and follows Munch. As soon as Liv knows they're gone, she breaks down. What she doesn't know is that Fin is keeping an eye on her. He can only imagine how she feels. He sips his coffee. Suddenly, he gets a call.

"Tutuola." He takes down the information and hangs up. He runs into Liv's office. Liv looks up.

"What, Fin?" Fin's eyes are wide.

"Liv, we got a problem. I was just on the phone with a nurse at Mercy Hospital. A little boy fitting Noah's description was brought in by a guy with a rebel star tattoo on his neck." Liv gets up, grabs her gun and badge. She heads to interrogation. Everyone looks at her.

"Noah is at Mercy. Let's go! Munch, can you stay with Cragen?" Munch nods as Cragen comes out of interrogation.

"Liv, hope you nail this son of a bitch that took your son." She smiles and nods.

"Oh, I plan on it." She leaves with everyone but Munch and Cragen behind her.
