My Brown Eyed Procrastinator - Chapter 9

[Molly's P.O.V]

So its been three days since Dan asked me to go on that date with him. That night he sent me a text, asking if i wanted to go out with him on saturday night (tonight). So of course i agreed. I just can't believe it! I'm going on a date with Dan Howell!! We're going out for a meal together. I can't wait! I'm so excited, but really nervous too. Nicole's constantly talking about when Phil kissed her. I'm really happy for her. When i saw them kiss right after Dan asked me out, it kind of gave me hope that maybe me and Dan could be like that one day.

Nicole has insisted on giving me a make over before i leave the house tonight, but she doesn't want to just give me the basic makeup makeover, oh no, she wants to start from scratch. I take a shower, and as soon as i get out she's there, ready to beautify me. She originally wanted to wax my legs for me, but i insist that i'm capable of doing that on my own. So i wax, shave, etc, and then dry my hair. Nicole then plucks the few stray hairs from my eyebrows, then gives me a face mask and makes me sit with looking like shrek for the next 20 minutes. She then begins on my makeup. She puts a little foundation on, but focuses mainly on my eyes. "These are what you want to show off, what you want him to look at." she says as she applies my mascara. She then puts on my eyeliner and some eye shadow. I begin to worry whether she's over doing it, making me look desperate. Nicole hands me the mirror. It actually isn't bad! Its more of a natural look, thank god.

Nicole then begins to choose my outfit for me, which i am certainly not happy with. I don't want to go out looking like a complete tart, however my makeup does give me hope that Nicole won't pick out something ridiculous. She pulls out my black skinny jeans and my Panic At The Disco t shirt. She knows me so well.

Next she styles my hair into loose waves with the curling iron. Its not much different to how I usually look, but that's what I want. I don't want to look as though I'm trying too hard to impress him. We agreed on meeting at 8pm outside the resturant. I look at the clock. 7pm. Only an hour to go. I check my hair and make up in the mirror, when Nicole walks into the room. I jump back from the mirror, trying to act as though I wasn't checking how I looked. "Don't think I didn't see that" Nicole laughs. "Bless, my little Molly's getting nervous!"

"Your little Molly? What are you my mother?" I laugh.

"Hah, I could be!" she answers, shooting a wink. "I really hope tonight goes well for you, you and Dan look like a cute couple, you look good together."

"Thanks, I hope so too." I say, smiling at the floor.
