[Dan's P.O.V]
When Molly gets home, she places the her shopping bag onto the table. I open it, and pull out the contents: baby clothes. In that one moment, a wave of contrasting emotions floods through me; I feel fear as a result of the realisation of the great responsibility I now have, I feel guilt as a result of putting Molly and I into this position by not being careful, but mostly, I feel joy. I have the chance to start a family with a beautiful woman, have someone depend on me, and have someone call me Dad.
"They're adorable, love" I say, pulling Molly into my arms.
"Yeah, well, um.."
"What?" I ask quickly. "What's wrong?"
She's shaking a little, and though she's smiling she's clearly tearful. She takes a breath and suddenly releases her words, panicking, "when I was buying the clothes, I went to the checkout and Megan was running the till and I didn't know what to do and she saw the baby clothes and I think she might tell people, I'm sorry, I didn't know what to do, we need to make the video so that your followers hear it from us rather than her, right?"
I get a slight pain my stomach, a panicked feeling, we need to make the video quickly.
"It's okay, don't worry, it isn't your fault, we just need to make the video before she manages to tell anyone" I say, trying to calm her a little bit. "Even if she gets there first, it doesn't matter. Of course it would be better coming from us, but at the end of the day all that matters is that you and the baby are alright, I don't care what people have to say, you come first."
We're sat at my desk, and Molly clearly has no clue when it comes to making a video. I get up and start setting up the camera. "So, what will we say? Do I have to talk much? I'd like to avoid it a little," she says, looking anxious.
"Well you'll need to say something, but not much if you don't feel comfortable with it, either way everyone is going to love you." I understand why she's nervous.
