| Mei's POV |
"Mei! Mei!"
"Ahhhhhh! Help us!"
"Mei! Help!"
Voices of dead people echoed into the dark abyss. Eager to reach out. I walked backwards until I was stuck on the corner, nowhere to go.
My face was written with fear.
"Go away!" I tried to removed them away from grasping my dress.
"Mei..." A familiar voice called out.
With a gasp, my eyes went wide. "Mama..."
On the other side, my mother reached out while tilting her head with a smile,
"Come, my child.""Mama!" I quickly ran towards
her without hesitation while these ghostly hands from underneath tries to pulled me away.I gazed down at them and cringed,
pulling up my dress. "Noooo!"When I looked up, I saw my mother bathe with her own blood, laying on the floor, not breathing. Tears quickly fell down my cheeks while reaching out, screaming to call her.
"Mama! Noo! Mama!!" I screamed out as I struggle, avoiding to caught my feet.
But those hands trying to pulled my down, to the vortex until one of the hands grabbed my leg.I groaned. Another after another, they all caught both of my legs. I stopped.
I looked down at my legs,
which filled with bruises from their tight grasp then took a quick glance to my mother.I tightly shut my eyes while tears still streaming down,
"Mama, I'm sorry. I'm too weak. I can't protect you and Papa."
I let my body being dragged down towards the dark vortex.I opened my eyes slowly, I feel myself falling as tears floating away from the rim of my eyes.
I held out my hand and closed my eyes exhaustedly."Don't give up...."

"Huh!" I woke up with a start. I stared at the ceiling for a moment,
blinking as my nightmare faded from my mind. I sat up and gazed up at the clock. It's almost afternoon.(I woke up too late. Great.) I heaved a big sigh.
I yawned as I placed down my feet on the carpeted floor.
I raise a brow that there's something above the middle table.
I read the paper taped on the side of the mug.---
Mei,
I made your favorite breakfast but I think
you will wake up late. Maybe, this will be
your brunch (if I spell it right?). Ahaha
I hope you enjoy it!

I chuckled lightly that you guessed the person who wrote it. I lifted the cap and begin to take a bite. Once I finished my meal, someone called my name.
