The bathroom was just as marvelous as the rest of the house; it was large and spotless, the marble walls shining. One entire wall was a mirror, a counter running along it with silver sinks to match the shower. A nice stand up shower stood in the corner, frosted glass and silver frame work. It was the bathtub that caught your eye though; it was huge and made entirely of glass with white strip if stone running through it in the shape of a lounge chair. A smile still housed on your face, you turn on the hot water and begin to strip. Fluffy white towels sat on a shelf; you grabbed one and wrapped it around you, waiting for the tub to fill. You gently swayed your hand through the water, getting lost in your own thoughts. Who knew this is where you would end up, in a palace with a prince. Who even knew someone could have all theses things in a practically apocalyptic world. It was all so cliché but it warmed your heart. Your mother was so afraid for you to go down to earth; losing you to the sky box was one thing but you going to another planet? It was heartbreaking. A small frown formed as you though of your mother, you missed her. Sighing, you drop the towel and lower yourself into the water. It made your skin tingle and burn; you truly missed the feeling of hot water. You let your body relax laying on the piece of stone, your eyes closed for a brief moment. You wanted to open them again but you couldn't make yourself do it, you slowly slipped deeper into the water until you were full submerged. What would happen if you didn't resurface? Roan would come in eventually, finding you there. Was that what you wanted? Suddenly aware of the burning sensation you rose up, taking in the cold air. After that you tried to stay focused, afraid of what you might do if you allowed those thoughts into your head. You bathed, cleaning so much dirt and grime off you began to wonder if maybe a shower would have been a better idea. When you got out, you wrapped the towel around you again and padded up to the mirror. The last time you saw yourself you were having a panic attack, the fear and pain in your eyes accenting the dirt and grime that was your body. Your hand reaches out and wipes away the steam, revealing your face. You were shocked to say the least; somehow you had actually forgotten what you looked like. You looked so different. You must have stared at yourself for ages, taking in ever detail. Eventually though, you pulled yourself away to go get dressed. Inside the closet was the most exquisite gown you'd ever seen. It was white and crystal blue, little ice like gems dripping from it. You laid it on the bed and grabbed the brush that was on the nightstand, preparing yourself to meet the queen.

Finally the moment came and you were standing in front of the bedroom door, your hands at your side. Your heart pounded in your chest, you were actually about to meet a queen. The Queen. You let out a very shaky breath and grabbed the door knob, twisting and pulling it open before you could think twice about this while thing. Roan stood up straight from leaning on the wall and looked at you, his eyes staring at every inch of you.

"You...You look beautiful." Roan says a genuine smile on his face. He out stretches an arm and you take it. Walking side by side with him down the halls, you felt a power growing in you. You felt like a princess and you feared how addictive this feeling might be. Roan lead you to a private dinning room near the very top of the mansion, pushing through wide double doors he lead you in. A large glass table sat in the middle of the room, sitting at the very head of the table was the woman who scared you the most. The Ice Queen. Roan lead you to sit on one side of the table, near the Queen, while he sat on the other.

"Welcome, my dear." The Queen speaks, her voice soft but old.

"Thank you, this place its...it's so beautiful" You marvel, earning a smile from her.

"Mother, this is Y/n, Y/n this is Nia my mother." Roan introduces you both.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Y/n. My son has told me a lot, when he brought back you instead of your leaders head, I was quite surprised."

"As was I, Nia" You chuckle "I was very surprised when he asked me to come with him."

"You must be special; it takes a lot to catch his eye." Nia says, smiling and cutting into her food. You and Roan both follow suit, enjoying the delicious meal.

"So my son told me that he wishes you to be his queen when he takes my place." She speaks up again; your heart is pounding as you try to find a response.

"I think she is beginning to like the idea," Roan says, smiling and looking at you. "She seems to be warming up to me." You blush and look away, his smirk sending a chill down your spine. Nia chuckles, taking a drink of her wine.

"So, Skikrew right? What was it like up there?" Nia asks.

"Small...It was very small, and loud there...there was always a constant humming from machines that ran the Ark. It was maddening." Nia hums and nods, taking another drink from her wine.

"I uh, I like it a lot more here. It's quiet and beautiful, truly a magnificent place Nia."

"Well thank you, dear. I think it will suit you well." She says, smiling softly at Roan. He puts down his glass and stares at her.

"Does that mean...does that mean we have your blessing?" Roan asks quietly, you being completely lost in the conversation. Nia hums a yes and nods, Roan's eyes light up and a grin spreads across his face. You look between the two of them, trying to understand what just happened. Roan turns to you, his grin still on his face.

"What, what's happening?" You ask, laughing nervously.

"She gave me, us, her blessing. You can be my queen now, or until then, you can be my princess." His words startle you but...but in a good way. A rush of adrenaline runs through you and you match his grin.

"So...Will you? Will you be mine, Y/n?"

The room goes quiet, both of them waiting anxiously for your response. It feels like years pass before your quiet voice finally breaks the silence.

"Yes"
