John Murphy, the Big Bad Wolf.

You two stayed in the field for hours, you had become so addicted to the way his skin felt on your, the way his breath would fan across your neck when he stood behind you. The way his face relaxed when he smiled at you. Many would say you were the very embodiment of Aphrodite for make him fall in love with you, but to him you were Y/n, and that's all he wanted. You two didn't have to speak to be together, the silence around you was comforting. Just having his arms around your waist and his face in your neck while you giggled at the butterflies was enough. You never wanted to leave. But alas, the night began to grow warmer and you knew the earth would begin to wake soon.

"We should go soon." You whispered, tracing small patterns on his arms. He hummed in response, keeping his face against your neck. His grip tightened slightly, you knew he didn't want to leave.

"I'm sorry, Y/n. For everything I did to you." He whispered guilt painfully evident in his voice. A small smile fluttered onto your lips and you turned to face him, taking his face in your hands you forced him to look into your eyes.

"I forgive you, John. Do you hear me? We all did things on the Ark, things we regret. We have a whole new life here to make better choices with. I forgive you." Your words were soft against his tortuous tides of emotions. He breathed a sigh of relief and closed his eyes, his hands burning into your hips. He would give anything to make this moment with you last, he had no idea how much he felt for you until now. Your hands trailed down to the base of his neck, gently pulling him in closer to seal your promise with a kiss. A statement of your devotion, you two tangled together for one last moment. The taste of him on your tongue left you hungry and wanting more, he whined ever so softly when you pulled away.

"Come now, we should get back before everyone wakes up." You whisper, taking his rough hand into yours.

"By everyone you mean Bellamy." Murphy retorts sarcastically, following behind you.

"Yes, Bellamy. Best not piss off the king before you have an army."

"You planning on building an army?"

"Maybe." You grin, turning to pull him against you again. You didn't get more than a yard before you needed to taste him again. Murphy flashed his famous smirk and took you in, touching you like he'd done it a million times. Time was untraceable when you were with him; it felt like had been less than a second when he pulled away. He rested his forehead on yours, his eyes remained closed as he let out a soft breath.

"I love you"

All the air left your lungs, like a stone had replaced your heart. You couldn't breathe, your eyes shot open and you stared at him. You thought you'd see regret or fear in his eyes but all you saw was content. He was confident in what he said, he meant it. Suddenly, air flooded into you, warmth filled you and all your own fear faded away. Staring into his eyes you felt something you'd never felt before.

"I love you too, John."
