A beautiful sunny morning, it's weekend so Veronica slept with me last night. She woke up first and I left the cozy bed.
"Hey... Wake up, sleepy boy." she said in lovely tone.
"Uhmm... Woah!" I get up quickly.
"W-what's the matter?"
"Filmore Derwint."
While eating our breakfast, I tell the story about my dream in my past.
"Who is Filmore Derwint?" asked Veronica.
"A friend. A scary friend from my coven. He blamed me for the rest of his life. He, her wife, and I were good friends in our coven. They are older to me. His public witch name was Reshep and his wife, Rachel, was Qadesh. We are dark wizards but we are peaceful workers in the castle of our coven. And we have rules in casting magick, we can kill a person that deserves our anger but never cast a love spell unless it was a love matchmaking spell, never rise a dead or control a person by magick. One night, I am walking along the hallway. When I passed in front of their door, Qadesh came out of their room.
"'Merry meet, Agnis. Would you like to join me for a little tea party? I have a lavender tea.'
"I felt something wrong but I cannot refuse her offer. Lavender tea is the best for me. I came in... I sat on the wooden stool and she sat on the bed while there is a mini table in the middle with tea pot.
"'Hmm... Is that a jasmine and cinnamon incense?' I asked.
"'Yes. Lovely, isn't?' she replied.
"Then I fell down to the floor. When I woke up on the strange bed, someone is kissing me. And I kissed back but I realized that I don't have a girlfriend.
"I gently pushed her away.
"'Woah!' I shouted.
"'Hush. Reshep may hear us.' said Qadesh.
"'Why are you doing this?'
"'I miss Reshep but he refused me to be with him. He is so busy on paperworks.'
"The door opened violently. We saw Reshep in rage.
"'I knew it! You betrayed me, Agnis. I will never forgive you!' Reshep shouted.
"'Let me explain.' I begged.
"'He is innocent. It's your fault Reshep!' Qadesh added.
"'I don't care. Agnis! You and me will duel at outside the castle!'
"'B-but... But...'
"'Forgive me.'
"'It's fine. Not actually.' I replied.
"'Good luck!'
"She kissed me to my forehead and my face is blushing after that.
"I fix myself and follow Reshep to an open field of the castle. Luckily, there's is no bystanders within that place.
"'Taste my wrath!' he shouted.
"Threw a knife with poison.
"'Wait! I'm not ready.'
"I stopped it with telekinesis. The knife suspends in the air and it fell on the ground. I inhaled a lot of wind and convert it into fire, I attacked him with fire balls from my mouth but he managed to evade my attacks. He threw a cloud of poison but I protected myself with a pillar of fire. The air became purified because of my pillar but I forgot the center. He shot me from the top with needles with neurotoxin, a poison that can cause temporary paralysis. My fire pillar was diminished because of that. From the distance, he took his poisonous knife.
"'Now, you can't touch my Qadesh anymore.'
"He threw the knife again but Qadesh saved me.
"'No!' I shouted.
"'Qadesh!'
"The poisonous knife wounded her at stomach.
"I quickly purified myself and removed all the needles by telekinesis from my body to help Qadesh.
"I laid her on my lap.
"'P-pardon me...' she said.
"She touched my face with her bloody hand.
"'It's fine. Not your fault.'
"Then she died in my lap. She died with her eyes open. I closed them and cried at her. I saw her spirit ascended out of her body. She smiled at me then she vanished.
"I saw tears from Reshep's face when he saw her died. He kneels and punched the ground.
"'She just want my time but I don't gave it to her. It's your fault. It's my fault.' he said.
"He stood and became enraged. He shouted and the heavy black cloud of poison came out his mouth and eyes.
"I was frightened at him. Some coven mates came out to see. I worried that they might get infected.
"I quickly gave the body of Qadesh to my coven mates and I approached Reshep.
"'Reshep! Stop it!'
"By the power of fire deities; Agni, Horus, Pele and Brigid... I breath a large amount of fire at Reshep to purify the air and his half of his power was vanished. But the painful memory is still at him so I felt his vengeful energy."
