Hye Sun's POV:
That day, Samcheon told me to meet with him in a secluded alley along the street. He told me that he has something important to say that Min Ho doesn't need to know.
I was on a hurry on my way out of the house, so sleeping Min Ho won't realize he's left alone in bed. I took my wig and went out of the house. I saw Samcheon sitting in an open neighborhood coffee shop at the corner of an almost lonely street. Samcheon likes cheap coffee because cheap coffee is the best coffee for him. And nothing else.
As I sat in front of him, he offered me a bagel and I gladly received it.
"Listen, this is very important. But you have to hide this from Min Ho. If he knows of this then I don't know what that kid will be able to do. He'll really put up a mess. That would put a stain on his career and Starhaus wouldn't want that, we'll be in a bigger trouble if this happens."
"Is this.... really that bad?"
"Yes." Samcheon replied as he looked down.
"How bad is it?" I asked him, trying to swallow the worry as I keep my voice from shaking.
"Very bad Hye Sun... I'm sorry that it has to be you all the time." He told me.
"If I can do it then...why not right? I mean I know Min Ho is suffering more than I am, I am only experiencing half of the hell Starhaus is putting him through, who am I to avoid a challenge for him when he..." I paused as I felt the tears starting build in my eyes. "Almost.... lost his career because of me. Because I... was only thinking of myself then. But now, I am ready to fight for him no matter what it takes."
"My nephew chose the right woman." Samcheon said nodding his head.
"Tell me Samcheon, what is it?" He took a deep breath as he started to explain.
Samcheon is being threatened by a politician. And you know what's worse? That politician wants us to end all of our help to the kids in poor countries, such as Min Ho's PMZ. And my cancer donations and send it to the Children from I don't know what place he is in charged of but all I know is this is just part of politics. Those donations me and Min Ho had sacrificed so much will be useless once he has been voted by the people. Because if we don't do this, He'll let the public know about Me and Min Ho. Samcheon paused for a while the moment I asked him the worst part.
"The politician's daughter.... is a fan of you and Jae Hyun."
"That's normal I mean, yeah. Of coarse, tell me directly Samcheon please. What is it?"
"His daughter is suffering from Leukemia, The child. She's dying."
"Oh no.. Then... Ahmm.. So should we and Jae Hyun visit her then?"
"I am sure that wouldn't be enough for a "bad guy" like him knowing that we already started making up an issue on you and Jae Hyun made his daughter's hope for living lighten up."
"I think I know where this is going."
Samcheon nodded.
"Can't I just tell Min Ho? I don't want to make him sad."
"Fine, you can tell him... only a different story. I am sorry to tell you this just now, but we have to hurry. Just think about his daughter, she doesn't have much time. And worst he is pointing a gun on our heads."
I gasped. No. No. This is happening so fast.
"But we just confessed last month Samcheon."
"I know."
"What would I do?" I asked him.
"Don't ask me because I want you to decide in that matter. What do you think is the most effective thing a couple could do"
"Get married?" I looked at Samcheon and he dropped his cup of coffee and stared at me for a while not expecting my question. Even I was surprised with my own answer.
"But I only hope the child lives because if she dies I will have to end this issue, and if it is marriage then fine! I don't care anymore. Stupid politics. But please make it private, like no one is allowed to be there or something just organize a wedding because the media would know, Me and Jae Hyun doesn't need to show up."
Samcheon nodded.
"We'll only like...post pictures of us together, yeah? Would that be helpful? I mean I wasn't an actress for nothing. This will be easy. I mean I could act as if everything is real and I don't need to say anything... I will tell Jae Hyun what to say and do to make it look perfect and unscripted." I added.
At that time I felt like I was carrying a huge light bulb on top of my head telling Samcheon all of my plans. Getting all of the puzzles to connect to each other.
"You're right Samcheon, we need to hurry, we'll do it next month then! Because after my trimester my stomach would be a bit bigger now and I don't want that to get to the camera and all. I want a safe nine months without people getting the idea. So after May next month, I wouldn't have to go out of the house. Great right?"
After telling him everything, Samcheon sighed and looked at me. "I really hope this works Hye Sun, marriage is the worst and best plan at this time, it's our only hope. I can't believe we're going through this right now."
"Don't worry Samcheon after next month, we won't be bothered anymore because they'll think that I'm a married woman and that would also save me from Suzy permanently, two birds with one stone isn't it?"
Samcheon sighed and nodded his head.
I only laughed at the great idea I just made.
"Well I have to leave Samcheon, I need to make a script for Jae Hyun. lol"
"Good luck, always remember I am here for you."
I just hope Jae Hyun's non-showbiz girlfriend wouldn't mind.
