Min Ho's POV:
Sometimes... I have to dress like Jae Hyun. Walk like him, and look like him... only to save myself. Hurt every one else concerning our relationship... but save the relationship itself.
Some people might think it's stupid. Yes it is. But look at us. We've started an endless mess. We've betrayed the truth and now it's taking it's revenge. I don't want to hurt the people around us, our parents, friends and fans as well. But I really do hope that someday they would all understand.
Those Instagram updates Jae Hyun does.... Those are all my plan. Shocked? Surprised? If my life was a movie, the viewers would have been clapping their hands at me right now. But then this is real life. I won't be expecting any plot twist. Because that plot twist may save us, or end us.
FLASHBACK
We had a double date, We bought gelato and stayed at the hotel room all day. Joo Ri and Jae Hyun suggested to watch the movie they've always wanted to watch together. Those also experience the same situation as we do, only that Joo Ri has no clue about celebrity dating. I see the risk taker in her, just like my Hye Sun.. Very very much of a risk taker.
The two arrived in front of our front door. Sunny and I? well... before that.. we had some alone time. More like an hour before these two came in and ruined our moment.
I bet the hotel staff hadn't had any idea that there are 2 couples is one room.
My genius dear old Samcheon decided to have the hotel's name under his name and his wife's. So obviously, we're super safe now. Talking about sasaengs? Well my sasaengs are the most lovable and understanding sasaengs. Because if not, Sunny and I would have been caught by now.
"HIS WIFE" yes, Samcheon is married. Sadly my minoz were crazy for him more than I think they are for me. But that's good. Hye Sun's happy about that. She says "at last my hubby is mine."
Sunny ate a tub of gelato by herself. I bet she'll eat another tub later. And another tomorrow. My credit card's about to meet it's end just because of her. She eats like man, I wouldn't be surprised if she eats a lot more than I do. Her plates always full. And her addiction for iced tea? It's overflowing! There's a lot of canned iced tea in her luggage and on mine. She eats like a hippo these days. Just like the pregnant woman that she is. But that's what makes me love her even more. Joo Ri on the other hand only ate a single spoon of gelato. Says she wants to impress Jae Hyun. huh I heard the two talking in the bathroom.
I'm good at eavesdropping you know. My old CEO can't save himself from my eavesdropping.
"Isn't Min Ho oppa, Suzy unnie's namja chingu? I thought he's your dongsaeng. I'm sorry unnie. I'm confused."
Joo Ri? Joo Ri had no idea?
I knocked on their door.
Joo Ri opened the door and she looked at me, shock and confusion can be seen in her eyes. It felt awkward.
Hye Sun looked quite hurt.
"I'm not her dongsaeng" I said.
Joo Ri blinked a few times, still confused. Looking at Hye Sun then at me and back at her again.
"I-I'm sorry.. I didn't.."
"It's okay..." I cut her off.
"Jae Hyun oppa didn't tell me.."
"We'll explain everything later." I said.
She nodded her head and turned to Hye Sun.. "Unnie, I'm sorry... I'm starting to understand now.."
She ran out in a hurry.
I looked at Sunny and she was about cry.
I went to her and cupped her face. The moment I stood in front of her, the tears she tried very hard to control makes it's way flowing down her cheeks.
"No.. no" I said as I shook my head while wiping her tears.
"Do I look that old then?!?" She yelled, crying,
"Noooo, of coarse not, I look older than you. The minoz can justify that." I said, trying to make her laugh. "They say I look just like a dad, well almost but they don't know that I am going to be one. in the next 3 months" I continued.
She laughed.
"But still! Joo Ri thinks you're my dongsaeng!" She said.
"Since what she knew is that I am with Suzy then could she probably think that I am your boyfriend or you're a third party or....she will rather think that I am your uncle?" I said tickling her on the side.
"What Joo Ri only knows is that Jae Hyun and I are doing it for a drama. He doesn't make her watch TV or the news. She doesn't even have a single SNS. She only knows what her friends tell her." Sunny explained.
I nodded my head, wiping the rest of the tears that have dried on her cheeks.
"It's sad how people look at us this way." Hye Sun whispered as I hugged her.
"It's even more sad for the people we have deceived, the people who once believed in us. The people who have left and the people who have stayed. But the worst part is, we can't take it back and we can't stop it either. Every time Jae Hyun and I decides the next thing to do, we only add another bullet for another item in a bucket list of lies." I said.
She hugged me tighter. "This is the only way that could help us out into this mess. We had to give away a few things, to be able get a lot of things back. Like you and me. And the family that we will become."
I nodded as I softly touched her baby bump. It's getting bigger and bigger everyday. I sighed "My Little Princess has to endure a panty girdle from now on."
