Chapter Five: Reopened Wounds

"Jean!" Eren called as he saw the Titan female carrying his friend away. "We have to go after her! We need to-" Mikasa gave himself quick slap.

"Do what Eren! He's gone! He's dead! She ate him!" She took him by the shoulders and slightly shook him. "There nothing we can do." Her voice went soft. Another comrade, another friend dead, she thought quietly to herself.

"We can't stay in the open like this anymore! We need to regroup and make for camp." Levi prepared his swords and jumped down to the Titans below he started to the still alive Titans the Titan girl left.

It was warm, well, warm wouldn't begin to describe it. The heat was extraordinary, If felt like his flesh was going to sweat off. Jean quickly started to gasp for breath, the air was hot and humid, as he tried to breath no air would enter his lungs. His eyes shot open, it was dark and wet, his was on a soft burning form that seemed to constantly move, as if living in its own.

Jean started to choke out a scream for help, then with a rumble cracks of light emerged from beside him, large bumpy forms caught in the light. The light itself was blinding, as the rays catch his face,  but as his eyes adjust he realizes the bumps were teeth, giant teeth. The large mound that was moving a tongue. Jean, was in a mouth, a giant mouth.

Fresh air flooded the cavernous mouth. He gladly breathed in the sweet gusts, the light outside was erratic as he soon realized they were still in the forest.

Am I dead? Jean questioned himself. Is this hell, what did I do to deserve this punishment? Why didn't it eat me? What does it want with me? Jean sat and looked past giant molars noticing the Titan stopped.

The Titan shifted, turning it's head slightly looking left then right. Jean noticed there was a large rock wall in front of the Titan as he saw it on both sides when it turned. Then he heard it, a sound that froze his very blood, despite the immense heat, a large bone against stone. Then a rumbling shook the body of the Titan and the trees outside the mouth began to shrink.

Oh my god! It's-it's climbing, he started to panic. It's climbing the rock!

It didn't take long for the Titan to climb the wall, each time her hands penetrated the rock her body shook, causing Jean's heart to stutter.

It wasn't until she was at the top, and Jean saw a sea of green of the tree tops below, did the mouth open fully. Jean creeps further back into the mouth as a large clawed hand came towards him trying to pry him out of its monstrous mouth.

"Noo! Let me go!" Jean shrieked as the hand pulled him out of the mouth. Once out he saw his capture, her large sea foam eyes looked at him. A strange intelligence behind them.

Her short dirty auburn hair parted from her face. The meat around her eyes were exposed as he notices the muscles reacting as her eyes scanned his form. She had lips despite the side of her cheeks being almost ripped apart like it were clawed. Her features were exaggeratedly pointed as they were shaped by bone, her chin was the most noted as it was a sheer spike and almost chiseled into being.

"Aahk." She slightly hiccuped. Taking her free hand she gently poked at the boys leg, blood was freely flowing down it unnoticed.

"AHHHHH!" He screamed. Body wrenching forward in her grasp.

Her face changed to a shocked worried expression. As she gasped as she desperately looked around, like a child who broke a toy and didn't want to be caught.

Gently cradling him in one hand, she  took the other and put down leaves into a makeshift nest. Carefully she placed the two toned haired boy down onto the foliage. He looked at his bleeding wound it was the one Mikasa gave him months before, it seemed to have reopened. As light headed as he was, from loss of blood, managed to get one last look at his capture before passing out.

She....looks like....the girl....from the.....forest.....

Soooo how'd you like? Wanna talk about it? I know probably not a big surprise but I like how it went. Welp gonna go write the next chapter a bit of insight about what's going on.
