Scott walked back and forth in his classroom, remembering breathing techniques his therapist suggested for him.
Hold, one two three. Breathe, one two three.
He couldn't believe that Kirstie has to go to some private school to 'help her find God' and 'ask Him for forgiveness because of her actions'. First of all, Kirstie knew God and believed in Him already. Second of all, she knew that her actions are bad. Scott could hear pray every night to God and a solution to how to end her troublesome actions.
Maybe Ariana was the solution.
Ever since Kirstie has revealed her love for the younger girl, she threw away all the drugs she had. The last time she ditched was when she went to how Mitch was doing. She didn't talk back to her teachers anymore or expected people in her group to do all the work. Ariana definitely had an impact on her, but all that is being taken away.
Because Kirstie will always be a troublemaker and cause havoc.
But Scott knew deep down inside that Kirstie is better than that and that she would do anything to make her life better.
"Scott? Kirstie is emptying out her locker. I have the prices of the private school right here. If you have questions, feel free to ask me."
"Thank you."
The principal nodded, giving Scott the registration form. Scott read over it, his eyes widening at the prices.
$625 per month( six months), $3750 for entire tuition
Girls uniform:
Shirt: $25
Skirt: $20
Shoes: $30
Jacket: $45
Socks: $10-$15 because of school logo
Please pay in full
Scott began to breathe quickly, his hands shaking at the prices. Tears began to well in his eyes as he realized that it was impossible to pay for Kirstin to go to this school. He barely as enough money to send Mitch to Hanson's! He sat down on the piano bench, sobbing quietly now as he looked at the impossible prices.
I don't know what to do! Why does this always happen to us?! What did we ever do to deserve this?!
Scott heard the bell ring, wiping his eyes quickly. He drank some water and examined himself in the mirror. He smiled weakly, trying his best to not look like he just had an emotional breakdown. He could hear students talk amongst each other, laughing as they talked what they did over the weekend. Scott walked out of his office, putting a fake smile on his face as he looked at his students.
"Hello, everyone," Scott spoke up, causing everyone to stop talking. They said hello back, ready for the day. "How are you gu-where's Peter?"
"He was sent to that private school," a student spoke up, frowning as he looked at the seat next to himself. Scott nodded, trying his best not to cry. "He registered over the weekend and was put in right away. He didn't want to go, but he had to."
"I know," Scott whispered, thinking of a solution for Kirstie going to private school. He sighed sadly as he looked at his students, taking out his phone. "Today's a free day. Do whatever you want. I have a lot on my mind."
