"Time for school, Butters!" My mother informed me

As I sat up, I heard the door in my room close. I did all my morning routines and started walking towards the bus stop. I could see that Kyle was there.

"Hey, Kyle." I smiled and sat down next to him.

"I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I'm not in the mood for talking today." He avoided eye contact. "It has nothing to do with you."

"Oh.. Okay. Are you sure that it's not my fault?" I asked him. "I don't want to over think everything and think for myself that it's my fault. When I do so, I get really stressed and feel guilty, but there's nothing I could do about it, because it wasn't my fault at all. A-and-

"JUST PLEASE SHUT UP!" Kyle shouted and covered his face with his hands. He sighed and apologised for getting angry.

"It's okay."

"I promise that it's not your fault. I'm not going to tell you what's going on, but it has nothing to do with you." He explained. "Just please don't talk to me. I'll just get angry."

I needed someone to tell Eric that I was grounded, but I couldn't ask Kyle. Neither Kenny or Stan showed up before the bus came. I sat down next to Kyle, but didn't say anything. We were quiet for a while.

"If someone promised you not to do something, but they did it anyway, would you be mad at them?" Kyle asked me. "And even though you knew they were lying, they kept saying they didn't do it?"

"I mean... I wouldn't be happy about it." I answered shortly. Kyle sighed.

"I just have to say it.. Stan promised me that he would stop drinking, but he was really drunk last night." He explained.

"Maybe he didn't mean to get drunk?"

"Butters, I found a lot of alcohol hidden in his room."

"It wasn't right of you to search through his room, though."

"If he's my friend, he shouldn't have anything to hide away from me! Right?"

"I'm sure you have secrets you want to keep away from Stan."

Kyle looked out the window. He was in some deep thoughts. I decided to leave him alone and not talk to him.

I didn't talk to anyone the rest of the ride. Before school started, I looked for Kenny. I was still scared of walking alone at school. When walking to class, I looked around me nervously. I checked behind me frequently.

Everything was normal that morning until lunch. Kyle, Kenny and Stan wasn't there. I looked around to find someone to sit by and noticed Clyde sitting alone. Looking sad as always.

"What's up?" I smiled and sat down next to him.

"I did something stupid and Craig is mad at me." He looked at his food and played with his fork.

"What did you do?"

Clyde sighed. "I don't want to talk about it."

"That's okay. Just remember that it's safe telling me anything. I'll be there for ya if you need me!" I patted his back.

"Yeah, thanks."

"Hey, Butters!" I heard someone approach behind me. It was Craig. "Don't sit with this loser." He took my plate and carried it to the table he sat by with Tweek.

"Hey, I was in a conversion here!" I followed Craig and tried to get my plate back, but he made me sit down instead. Clyde looked really disappointed from the other side if the room.
