Chapter 1: The walk

Elizabeth's POV
I was walking through the forest, a usual routine to get to my school, golden ridge high. I always got up three hours before so I could get ready and look around. There was always something about this forest that was calming. It wasn't any forest that calmed me, only this one. Sometimes I would take the path through that led me to a rock that was coincidentally shaped like a seat. I would sit there for hours in summer. If only I didn't have to worry about school. Just then I heard a rustling sound in a large bush. I immediately put my guard up. I heard about the coyotes out in these woods but never seen one. I fell down the hill on the side of the path. It was filled with sharp rocks. Luckily for me, it's only a few feet down. I got back up the hill only to find out what scared me was...................a bunny. I can't believe I got scared over A BUNNY. I was pretty scratched up from falling down the hill. I decided to get to school. My friend Brianna is going to yell at me for being in the forest. Ever since I shown her the chair rock in the forest she told me never to go in the forest again. I told her I'll try not to. She rolled her eyes at me when I said that. When I finally got to golden ridge high Brianna was waiting for me, as always. She ran to me from her convertible after she seen the cut on my forehead when I feel down the cliff.

Brianna POV
I seen this nasty gash on my friend Lizzy's head. I ran over from my car and yelled " What happened?!" even though I know that she went into the forest. She most likely fell down shard hill. I keep telling her not to go in the forest. Does she listen? No, she's a free spirit. I can't control her. I'm not the one that holds that power. She can't know about us. She would go crazy. Not in the way others would in a way like get away freak, more like in a tell me everything about what's going on and how can I get in way.

Narrator
Elizabeth looked down at her pink and black skechers tennis shoes. "Never go in there again ok." Brianna told Elizabeth.
"I can't promise anything." Elizabeth smirked.
"Just don't do it again."
"Fall down shard hill? I'll try not to." her smirk getting stronger with every snarky comment.
"You know what I mean."
"But I like the forest" to lighten the mood, Elizabeth pouted like her 5 year old sister, Rachel.
"But I don't want you to go in the forest." Brianna playing along with her friend's stupidity.
"But I wanna."
"But you can't"
"But I wanna."
"But we have to get in school."
Both Elizabeth and Brianna looked at their phones. It was 7:40, giving them about 30 minutes to get in and eat before the first bell.
"Come on Elizabeth, hurry up."
"Hurrying."

This is the first chapter of anything I have wrote plz don't hate.
