I hear my alarm going off. So I roll over and turn it off. I stretch and get out of bed. I walk to my bathroom and strip. I turn the water on and wait for it to warm up. Once it does, I get. It lasted about 15 minutes, which is pretty short for me. I dry myself off. I put my hair in a bun and put mascara on. I walk to my closet and find my bathing suit top, my black Nike pros, and my cut up shirt. I put that on and grab my penny board, sunglasses, my phone, & money. I head out of my room and go downstairs. I stop midway because I hear someone.

" I can't keep my mind off of her JJ. "

" I can't just ask her out, Matt will be pissed. "

" Fine, just give me a couple of nights to plan on how I wanna do it. "

" Okay, okay, bye. "

Then its silence. I quickly run upstairs and go to my room but I was very quiet. I hear footsteps coming towards my room so I act like I'm doing something.

* knock knock. *

" come in. " I said.

Jack G. pokes his head through my door.

" Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere. " he asked.

" um where to? Cause I was gonna ride my board. "

" To the other water park. You don't have to if you don't want to. "

" No I wanna go. When we leaving? "

" Now if you want. I just have to get dressed real quick. "

" okay, well I be downstairs. " I said.

He smiled and walked out. I followed him but I went downstairs. I went to the kitchen to find something to eat. Then the door opens. Matt. I sigh and continue to look through the cabinets. He walks upstairs, and I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. I hear footsteps, which I hope is jack and it is.

" hey. You ready? " he smiles.

" Yeah, let's gooo " I laugh.

I run up to him and jump on his back. He carries me all the way down to his truck. I get in the passenger seat and he plugs in his phone into the aux cord. He plays my favorite song, " No by Meghan trainor ". It took about 30 minutes to get there. When we arrived, jack let me out at the front and he went to park the truck. Two familiar girls came up to me.

" KENZIE!! " I heard them scream.

" Hey guys! How've you been? " I ask them and hug them.

They says they've been good and we carried on a small chat. I looked over at jack and I winked at the girls and told them to watch. I went over to jack and got his attention. I kissed his cheek. He looked so surprised and I turned around and looked at Hannah and brylee. They were laughing so hard. After a while, we told them goodbye and I walked with jack. We went on a couple of slides. There was this specific one, where it had double tubes, so that meant 2 people had to go down at the same time. Jack convinced me to go with him, so we got our tube and made our way towards the line. It was pink & purple. From the top it looked really long. It was our turn and I got it the front, jack got in the front. The guy gave us a push and we went down the slide. It was pitch black and you couldn't see anything. I managed to find jacks hand and I held onto it. Finally our tube was slowing down, but that wasn't a good thing. We weren't even close to the end of the slide. So me and jack had to push ourselves off with our feet. We could barely get going, then we heard screaming. Another tube was coming down. I pushed harder, but they were getting closer. They came at us and ran into us. It went black.

I woke up to a bright light. I put my hand over my eyes to hind the light. Then I heard beeping. My vision came came back and I started looking around. I see a hospital room. I get up real quick but I stop when I notice I'm in pain. I look down and see a black cast. My hand is broke. I see Cam in the chair at the end of my bed.

" Cam " it came out as a whisper. So I called his name again, it was a little bit louder but as soon and it got louder, my head started pounding. I drug my hands up to my head cause it hurt so bad. I looked around and saw a cup of water. I got it and threw the water at him. He woke up.

" Cam, what happened, where's jack, why am I here? " I asked him.

He came over and grabbed my hands and told me to calm down. Which I did.

" okay, so what I've heard, you and jack went to the water park, and y'all went on this slide, well y'all got stuck and another tube was coming down. Well your hand got bent under the tube and jack went forward, hit you in the head with his head, the other tubers just fell off the tube. " he says.

" okay, so where's jack? Is he okay? " I asked.

" kenzie, he's fine. He's next door. " he said. I was so relieved.

" when can I see him? " I asked.

" well you can now, but you have to be careful " he said.

I nod my head.

" hey, did you, by chance, bring me some clothes?" I ask.

" spandex, sports bra, and t-shirt. " he hands me.

" your a lifesaver. " I tell him and slowly make my way to the bathroom. I get done after like 15 minutes. I come out and look at cam. He tells me to go and follows me out the room. I look in jacks room and see him on his phone and watching TV. I knocked and peeped my head through, he smiled. He motioned me to come in.

" hey kenz " he smiled.

" hey J " I said.

He patted a seat next to him on his bed. I sat down and cuddled to him. He wrapped his arms around him.

" How's your head and hand? " he asked.

" its fine, my head still hurts though. " i say.

" Did they give you medicine? " he asks.

" Yeah, I took it. Probably hasn't kicked in yet. " I say and look at him, and see him already looking at me. He blushes and looks away. I grab his chin and turn his head towards me.

" I love you jack gilinsky. Ever since I met you. " I told him.

" I love you Kenzie Espinosa, ever since I met you." He says. He leans in and kisses me.

" will you be my girlfriend? "

" yes. "
