She sat reading in an empty classroom, not wanting to stay in the library or the Gryffindor common Room, to be subjected to the same Odd stares, that still followed her.

She flipped the page, then looked up, Hearing the door open and her heart sank. It was Draco Malfoy.

For the love of Merlin, why was he here??

She hastily looked back at the book, letting her hair fall over her face, praying he hadn't seen her. But she knew he did, and that he recognized her.

Her hand tightened around her wand that she had under her cloak, and he finally stopped in front of her and she looked up, trying to appear nonchalant "Malfoy."

His eyes followed her arm to where it was holding her wand, but then he looked at her face, and his own hand went slowly to her desk, and he said with almost the same indifference "Evans."

She tensed up when his hand hovered near her, and a mocking smile unfurled on his lips, but he only put it to her textbook and closed it.

She said nothing, and slowly stood up, not bothering to get the book, but headed for the door. She could feel his eyes on her, and she slowly counted in her head.

3....2.....1.....

"Expellarmus!" she yelled as she whirled around, and pointed her wand at him.

At the same time, he had yelled "Petrificus Totalus!" but the spells narrowly missed them both, as they both had dodged it.

She raised her wand at him, and he looked amused. He stepped forward, and she stepped back, her eyes flickering down to the wand he was holding so casually, as if they were both simply having a small chat.

He raised an eyebrow "What are you going to do? Hex me? Curse me?"

She didn't know what was going on, he wasn't fighting back, he wasn't doing anything at all.

He was acting as though they were playing a child's game, and she was the poor underdog that needed help on the challenges.

He suddenly lashed out, yelling "Expellarmus!" and her wand flew out of reach, and his hand shot up, grabbing it.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! You let your gaurd down!

She grimaced, and he grinned, saying triumphantly, stepping forward "This is almost too easy. I mean, I knew you were bad at Defense Against Dark Arts, but that was really pathetic."

She scowled at him, "Go screw yourself, Malfoy. Just leave me alone"

He stepped towards her, and slipped the two wands into that weird pocket inside his jacket, saying silkily "No."

He Smirked, continues to step forward, until she was backed into the teachers desk.

Bella's  mind whirled. How was she going to get out of this?

She took a few breaths, and an idea came to her. It was simple. It was blessedly easy.

But she'd rather snog The Sorting Hat then do this.

Well...maybe not. The Sorting Hat was like fifty.

But Malfoy was Malfoy. Haughty, I'm-better-then-you Malfoy. And the Sorting Hat was nice at least.

....But it was a hat.

Draco snapped, "What the hell are you thinking about, Evans? You look like your going to hurl."

Oh, he had no idea.

She took a deep breath, and looked up, and she stood on her tip-toes, and she let her hands slowly fall onto his chest.

He looked surprised (Probably that she hadn't Maimed, punched or scratched him yet. In fact, she hadn't even cussed him out) but didn't move back, and she inwardly smirked, watching him, and she grabbed his tie, pulling him towards her, and he didn't need any further encouragement, for he had pressed his lips to hers.

Okay, This was not the plan. She wasn't going to bloody snog him! She just wanted to get her damn wand back!

But there was something so off about this. It felt good.

Her eyes flew open, then closed them, so flipping thankful that he had his own eyes closed, and she kissed him back.

He hands slid down to her hips, and she nearly fell.

Holy mother of Merlin, where the heck did his sudden confidence come from?

Okay, okay, focus, Bella. Just ignore it. Ignore him. She was here to get the wand back.

She let go of his tie, and she slowly slid her hand under his jacket, ever so slightly, and if he noticed, he didn't show it. His mouth pressed against her neck, and her heart slammed erratically against her chest. Focus.

She found the wand, and before he could react she had grabbed it, and shoved him away, and pointed it at him. "Levicorpus!"

He immediately flew up in the air, by his ankles, and let out a yell, and she muttered frantically "Silencio! Silencio!"

His mouth opened slightly, then closed and he glared at her, before flipping her off. "Such a gentleman" She muttered. He started mouthing things, probably threats and she waved her hand airily and said cheekily "Oh Spare me, Malfoy. Yes, yes one day you'll set rampaging hipogriffs on me."

She smirked, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, "Well, I better be going, I expect someone will find you here.....Eventually" She walked by him, and stepped forward, kissing him ever so slightly on the cheek mockingly, and she smirked "See You, Draco."

She headed out the door, ignoring him, and closed the door softly behind her.

She headed down the corridor before stopping, and leaning against the wall, and burst into laughter.

Twice in a row today, she had stood up to Malfoy, humiliating him!

She stopped laughing, putting a hand to her lips. He had kissed her.

She had a reason for kissing him, she thought defensively. But he didn't.

Bella shrugged, and decided to put it out of her mind, and she strolled over to Pansy Parkinson and her group. All the girls went silent, when they saw her walking over.

"Parkinson, in the old Charms room, your boyfriend tried to make a move on Cho Chang, but she has a thing for Potter so she hexed him." Bella nodded, smirking "I suggest you go help him down, then yell at him for cheating on you" Bella paused then said fairly "It would help of you did it in the Great Hall in front of everyone at Dinner"

Pansy Parkinson's face went red, and her nails curled Into a fist as she strolled over to the Charms Corridor, her girlfriends following her, gossiping as they went, wide-eyed.

Bella smirked. It was common knowledge that Malfoy and Pansy had broken up awhile ago, but Pansy still hung on to him, and would get jealous whenever he even looked at another girl.

I think I'll go early to dinner.
