Second Thoughts [ Soonhoon ]

# 5 - Awkward

Jihoon and Seungcheol was talking about something and Soonyoung can't quite hear it.

"What are they talking about?" Soonyoung said to himself as he scotted closer as he listen, he was hiding his face with a magazine that he got infront of the café.

"I like him." Soonyoung heard Jihoon said and it made his heart skip a beat, hoping that maybe, it was him. But the thought that it wasn't him ticks him off big time.

"I like him too, his movie was nice right?" Soonyoung's face fell, they were talking about something else.

"Anyways, I want to speak with you because..." Seungcheol said, his voice getting lower by every word he was saying, making Soonyoung even more curious but he can't scoot more because he would probably get noticed.

"W-Why did you asked?" Jihoon said quite being defensive with that topic being brought. Seungcheol was asking how is he and Soonyoung have been lately.

"Oh nothing." Seungcheol said while his tone was completely obvious. He was teasing Jihoon alright.

Jihoon was going to speak, but someone made a big crash sound, someone fell, it was Soonyoung, he was trying to lean so he could hear more but unfortunately, it made the situation worse. "Sir are you alright?" A waitress asked him and offered him a hand that he took, when he stood, the next table beside him, Jihoon and Seungcheol, clearly saw who was the one who fell. Jihoon watch Soonyoung dusting off some dirt into his pants with wide eyes, did Soonyoung heard? But wasn't he watching the movie earlier?

"Soonyoung!" Seungcheol called, very amused by the sight, he knew that there's a chance that Soonyoung would follow them after he gave that look to him earlier. He was clearly enjoying see this two lovebirds that doesn't even know that their feelings was mutual.

Soonyoung slowly looked and waved to the two, Seungcheol gave a wide smile and Jihoon wasn't still over the fact that Soonyoung may have seen him blushing when he was brought up. He just fixed his gaze upon the window beside him. "C'mon Soonyoung! Sit beside me." Soonyoung take a deep breath and nodded, he slowly walked while Jihoon clearly saw Seungcheol gave a wink at him, probably teasing him more. The table had four chairs with it so it was okay.

When Soonyoung finally sat. Seungcheol acted as if he was panicking which Soonyoung noticed. "Something wrong hyung?" He stated and Seungcheol nodded, "I've gotta go actually." He said and stood up, "I've got to meet up with Jeonghan with something, bye guys!" Totally a lie, Jihoon thought when he saw Seungcheol smile when he left.

"Uhm..." Soonyoung started, he sat on the chair Seungcheol was sitting on earlier so they were already facing each other. They were again, back to the time when Soonyoung confessed about his gender, they were feeling tensed again.

"Yeah?" Jihoon said, keeping his cool, barely. Soonyoung laughed, a hint of nervousness in it, "I should go order my food since I'm really hungry, do you want some?" Soonyoung said, standing up and Jihoon nodded, he didn't get the chance to eat yet since Seungcheol already left and he didn't had much money on him.

When Soonyoung came back, he had the snacks they loved to have. "I ordered our usual. It's amazing they have something like this too, I hope it taste the same or better." Soonyoung talked like he used to. It was better, he was just really shy about what happened earlier, he didn't can't exactly tell if the two was just dense or they just let it slide.

They ate in a comfortable silence, Soonyoung breaks it by burping, "What the hell Kwon Soonyoung?!" Jihoon whispered when some of the customers looked because the burp was sure loud, Soonyoung just gave a cheeky smile and said sorry to the other people and they both laughed. Soonyoung stopped in the midway to see a Jihoon chuckling, it was nice- no it was perfect, he enjoyed times like this. He doesn't know why but there's really something about Jihoon that made him happier.

"I'm sorry." Jihoon said when they were walking on the way to their dorm, Soonyoung looked behind him because Jihoon stopped into his tracks.

"Huh?" Soonyoung said, he was confused. Is Jihoon talking to him or he is just hearing things?

"I-I mean, I've been acting strange lately and....I think I know why.."
