Second Thoughts [ Soonhoon ]

# 3 - Late

"Hyung? We're going to be late, please wake up~" Minghao said, slightly tapping Jihoon's shoulder. He was still trying to be gentle because Jihoon his hyung.

"Oh Minghao! That wouldn't work! Let me show you." Seungkwan said while laughing, Minghao nodded and gave Seungkwan the space of the bed he was sitting on earlier. Minghao was too innocent to see what's coming.

Jun, on the other hand, left the room, while shaking his head. "Seungkwan's probably---yeah. I knew it." Jun said while he was going to the other room, he heard Seungkwan's loud voice even from there.

"Eyo ladiesssss!!! Wake up! Wak----" Jihoon sat up and gave Seungkwan a glare which didnt affect the latter.

"Told you Minghao!" He said and put an arm into Minghao's shoulder who nodded in agreement.

"Amazing! B-but, I don't think I could do like you hit the notes." Minghao innocently said and was still humble as ever while Seungkwan laughed in amusement and they went out of Jihoon's room.

Jihoon was still sleepy, and now it is silent again he could finally sleep. He did just the thing he wants. He drifted back to sleep.

Soonyoung was getting ready for school, he and Jihoon always walk together. Even when its going home.

He was ready to leave. The other members already left. They were actually a group called Seventeen, they were known around the school and someday, they wanted to be known around the world. And they want to be together when they reached that goal. So they decided to train, they found a company and they would hopefully, debut.

"Ah. Where's my English notebook? I need that." Soonyoung said while he rummaged through his study table.

"Oh. I left it in Jihoon's room." Soonyoung said and went to Jihoon's roon.

"Jihoon?!" Soonyoung screamed when he saw a little figure in Jihoon's bed, Soonyoung didn't need to see who's inside the blanket at the moment, he knew that no member is small and fragile to look like that, Soonyoung shaked his thoughts away. 'Besides, Jihoon is the only one who loves to sleep even when it's school days, he doesn't like when someone sleeping on his bed. It's common sense to know who is the one sleeping there.'

"Five more minutes..." He heard Jihoon mumbled under the sheets, Soonyoung just chuckled and tried to find his notebook and when he found it, he decided to speak again. "You know, we're going to be late if you don't stand there."

Jihoon opened his eyes right away when he heard who was the voice belongs to, he tried to speak but his voice cracked, clearly nervous, he just coughed it away and tried to speak normally.

"What time is it?" He said while sitting, he looked to Soonyoung, who was looking too.

"10:10." Soonyoung said while cracking up a smile and he received a glare from Jihoon.

"I'm kidding, it's 7:30." Soonyoung said while Jihoon stood up from his bed, cursing under his breath. He looked to Soonyoung. "You should get going, you're already late."
"Hm? I'll wait for you sleepyhead." Soonyoung said and flopped into Jihoon's bed, seeing if he can get another glare from the latter, he smiled widely when Jihoon didn't reacted one bit about Soonyoung in his bed. "What?" Jihoon said, making sure if what he heard was right, fuck school he thought, he didn't really cared if he was late, well a little bit.

"Ill wait for you and let's go to school." Soonyoung repeated and looked up in the ceiling, maybe a nap wouldn't hurt.

"O-okay." Jihoon mumbled while his cheeks were getting hot, before Soonyoung could look again, he rushed to the bathroom, and let out a small smile.

"Why am I smiling like this?"

"Shouldn't we hurry?" Jihoon said while they were walking, Soonyoung was clearly, taking his time and was walking rather slowly than usual.

"Nah, we're already an hour late, let's skip the first period." Jihoon sighed in defeat, besides, if it wasn't for Soonyoung barging into his room, he would probably woke up in the afternoon

"Soonyoung?" Jihoon called out, thinking his words carefully on how he could thank his friend, for waiting and waking him up.

"Hmm?" Soonyoung replied

"T-thanks.." Jihooon said, it was the best he could say, he didn't want to sound so thankful, it would probably end awkward for them.

Soonyoung laughs seeing Jihoon like that, he really finds him so adorable but Jihoon would probably hit him for that.

"You're always welcome."

When they entered the school, they've been scolded by the teacher for being so late, but after that they were allowed to go inside the school.

Jihoon had been thinking, does he like Soonyoung?

Why does he feel like many butterflies are in his stomach when he see Soonyoung smile or laughs because of him?

It made him also happy when they get to have small talks.

Does he have a crush on his long time bestfriend?

He really needs to smack Dino on the head, lightly because of his stupid questions, something like did finally occurs between them.
