All of witches or wizards have powers which can be activated when you reach 12 or 13. There's different kind of magic light magic and dark magic. Evil wizards or witches use dark magic. The Evil people have the dark crystal that contains there strength. And the light has also there own this is why they keep going on the war to destroy the crystals. The light is protecting the people but the dark wants to take over the world.
Since the 21st century came wizards and witches became less and hard to find luckily for this 5 people they came from the family of magic.
