Hungry Hippos
One day I was cleaning out the basement and found a new box to the game Hungry, Hungry Hippos. I had two little sisters who I knew would love the game, so I took it to them, and I was right, they loved it! They played with it for a very long time, smashing on the hippos to collect the little food balls. That night weird thing started to happen though. I was in bed trying to sleep, when I herd what sounded like munching. Brushing it off, I just thought it was something outside, so i went to sleep. The next mourning when I woke up and sent the girls to school, I went to clean their rooms. I was shocked to see the hungry hippos game open on the floor I went to pick it up, but I noticed the little food balls were misshapen. This was odd, but again I just brushed it off, seeing as i've never believed in the paranormal, but that night I herd the munching noises again. This was very disturbing. I didn't sleep that night, and when I checked on the game again the next day, I was disturbed to see that the hippos had little red specks on their mouths. I washed them off then put everything back into the box, storing the game back into the basement. I knew the girls would be upset, but I was going to tell them that it was broken. When I told them they weren't actually that upset, they took it well. That night when I was in bed I, again, herd the munching sounds. I got up and followed the noise to my sisters' room. Opening the door, i was horrified to see the hungry hippos game, bloody, with a mangled squirrel on top. I raced to it, grabbed it and the squirrel, and threw them both in the trash outside. I thought that was the end of that experience. How wrong I was. The next day the garbage men came, and I was glade to be rid of the game. The day ran very smoothly, but that night......
"Munch!" I sat up from my bed, "Munch! Munch! Munch!" I bolted straight to my sisters' room, opened the door, and froze. There on the floor was the hungry hippos game and my two mangled sisters.
