The Dice Man
I woke in a cold sweat, I was very thirsty. I decided to walk down stairs and grab a cup of water. After I had drank enough I went to the bathroom, did my business, then made my way back to my room. As I walked through the door, someone caught my head and placed their hand over my mouth, so I couldn't scream.
"I'm the dice man," he said, "Now, we are going to play a game. The rules are simple," He held out his hand revealing a set of dice,"You are going to roll these dice, If you roll doubles, you live. If you don't you die." Now, here I am thinking there is no way I'm going to roll doubles, but he leads me over to my night stand to roll. I grab the dice nervously. I'm going to die. I toss the dice. I take a deep breath. 1..., another breath, 2..., one last breath, 3..., and the dice land on one. Both on one! I'm okay, I'm not going to die! I turn to The Dice Man with a smile on my face.
"You know the rules. If you roll doubles, you roll again," My smile falls.
If you liked then.....
