Chapter 4

Tsunayoshi jolted awake, his eyes shown fear and shock as he took in the surrounding area he was in. At first, he was confused as to why he was sleeping outside when he recalled what had happened yesterday. The brunet suppressed the need to shudder as he remembered the outraged yell of his father when he ran out of the house.

'I wonder if he ran out after me?' Tsunayoshi mused, an empty smile was on his lips as he scanned the area. He didn't notice earlier but the park he was in was more or less abandoned. Leaves were scattered all around while the swings and slides inside the park were all rusty and old looking. The boy briefly closed his eyes before he decided to jump down from the tree he was residing in. He landed flawlessly on the ground in a crouched position.

"A little training wouldn't hurt, right?" He muttered to no one in particular as he eyed the tree in front of him contemplatively. He placed his hand on the stem and closed his eyes. He took in a deep breath before exhaling it out. He was so concentrated on the task at hand that he didn't realize that he wasn't alone anymore in the deserted park.

'Could that be the kid Luce was talking about? Kora!" A blond, spiky haired male, who was wearing green army camouflage clothes with a matching camouflage bandana that had the number 01 on it, thought as he looked at the small boy in front of him with interest.

'Heh, let's see what you got, brat.' The male beside the blond boy had spiky, jet black hair that was covered by the boy's fedora. He wore a black suit matched with black pants, fedora and shoes although his undershirt as well as a part of his hat were yellow in color. Both boys looked older than Tsunayoshi by a few years and their looks could pass on as being extremely handsome looking.

The boys' attention were focused on Tsunayoshi who had yet to open his eyes and take his hand away from the tree. They looked even more intrigued when they saw Tsunayoshi's brown eyes snap open and he jumped a few feet away from the tree.

'Breathe, Tsuna.' Tsunayoshi inhaled and then exhaled, a calm look was on his face. He ran to the tree at an incredible speed and as he appeared in front of it, he gave it a strong punch followed by another and then another until he was full on attacking the poor plant. The beautiful, green leaves of the tree swayed from each impact and some had even fallen. Tsunayoshi didn't mind, not even when he could feel pain in his hands. He was about to give off the finishing blow when his mind decided that it was a good time to show him an image of his family. The punch he planned to give the plant never made impact as he recoiled back in shock.

Was he about to destroy the poor tree?

"I lost control." Tsunayoshi mumbled. He looked at his bruised and bloodied hands in disappointment and sadness. He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice that two boys were approaching him.

"Heh, I don't know what that tree did to you but I'm pretty sure its learned its lesson. Kora!" The blond boy snickered as he saw the smaller boy flinch in surprise. He saw the boy turn to face them quickly, a look of horror mixed with surprise was displayed on his face.

"Um, who- who are you " Tsunayoshi stuttered and though he was a bit scared, he gave them a small glare. He observed the two boys in front of him and he could see that they looked a little bit older than him. His left eye twitched though as he realized that he sort of had to look up in order to observe their faces. He couldn't help but curse his shortness silently.
