(which is apparently a big deal)
i know you hate - really hate - the color red
(especially on flowers like roses)
i know you're terrified of the dentist
(you had two cavities as a kid)
i know you're afraid of rollercoasters
(even if you teased me for that)
i know you love the sun
(despite not being a morning person)
i know you can't swim...or float
(although cowards are supposed to)
i know she doesn't know any of this
(but you'd still rather be with her)
i know i love you so, so much
(yet you honestly wouldn't care)
i know that i know all these things
(still, five years aren't enough to change your mind)
but i also know promises are meant to be broken
(and you know that too)
