I'll tell you mine"
It's a small price to pay
for something so divine.
And you're compelled
to tell them everything
from how your name is spelled
down to the cracks in your voice when you sing.
But no matter how much
their sweet lips pry yours
or how hot their touch,
do not entertain their malicious endeavor.
Because yes - their eyes are a color you've never dreamed
and their smile is like nothing you have ever seen,
but from loving, if there is anything I've learned
Their words are sweet but may leave you burned.
